Once we established our Sit command, we progressed on with teaching our Place & Recalls. Sully will be conditioned to go onto his Place item and automatically sit. The Conditioned Response will also apply to his Recalls.

Our client really wants us to get as far a possible with our distance training. This involves having Olive hold commands as we create distance, but also completing commands while we are far away. We are making excellent progress
Olive and I are working completely off leash on training day 6. We are building on our off leash stair and door manners. What a fantastic pup!
We are slowly introducing people distractions into our Heel training. Our dogs are taught to stay close to our left side with their collar in line with our thigh. Olive is an excellent example
I’m very happy to see our Down command improving. We definitely struggled but we are still ahead of the program. She likes to give me a 🙌 when she lays down
Our recalls and distance work are progressing nicely. In the next few lesson I will be removing my reinforcers and simply give her a single command. Great job Olive!
Yesterday night was quiet and it gave us the opportunity to help dial in our Heel command. Olive is a fantastic dog and very receptive to training.
And she is doing fantastic with her Place command on smooth unstable surfaces!
Today was our first official distraction lesson at Lowe’s in Cranberry PA. I used the sit command, walked about 50 feet away and got a great recall! Good job Olive baby!!!!
Our shop got a small makeover. We are really excited about our little merchandise wall for our clients. We are now a distributor for Kong, Nylabone, Max & Neo, Sprenger, and a few more coming soon!
Today we taught Capone the “Place” command. By the end of the lesson, Sonny was really smooth with her commands. We teach all of our puppies to follow our hands and positivity associate our hands with something good. Capone stayed engaged and trained well!

We quickly progressed to our “Heel” command after introducing “Loose Leash Walking”. Both are picking up quickly!
Daisy is really taking to training at the shop and we covered two new skills in one lesson! We are teaching Jeanine and Daisy the proper positioning of our “Heel” command. Our goal is to condition Daisy to walk tight to our left side and follow our pace and path of travel. Great job team!!
