I attended the WV Taxidermy Association Convention this weekend. As per usual I was last minute trying to get a piece together and it seemed like everything was stacked against me. I pushed through and while I didn’t put in as much time as I’d wanted to, I got my piece done and was able to take it. Much to my surprise even though I felt it wasn’t my best work I was blessed to win judges choice best reproduction, taxidermist choice best fish, masters division blue ribbon and best of category, state champion reproduction, the WASCO award for most artistic entry at the show, and the new Ascent Award for runner up best of show. I was and still am completely shocked. It never ceases to amaze me how God can take my messes and make them into something amazing. I can’t thank Him enough for the abilities he’s given me and I pray that as I strive to recreate what only he can give life to that I am able to do them justice. I’ll share some award pics but want to wait until after the next show to share the pics of the mount.

I have a Paasche hobby paint booth for sale. This is two of the 22” models put together. They retail for about $330 each on Amazon. So this is 44”. Works great for light duty spray paint work. Doesn’t handle high volume. $300 OBO. Must pick up.
