We are proud to claim some of the highest quality and most successful horses in the Midwest. Owned by Landin Doner, Darin Doner, who formerly raised draft horses and mules, and Chris Doner, who formerly raised and trained champion Arabian horses and three-day event Thoroughbreds, Circle D Miniatures was established with a unique vision deriving from two diverse backgrounds. All of the horses on our farm have been chosen for their superb conformation and champion-rich pedigrees to produce present and future champions. Established in 2010, we began with one very special mare, Little Kings BT Destiny Daisy. "Daisy" has been the horse of a lifetime with multiple supreme titles, two consecutive world champion titles, and earning the title of 2011 World Reserve Grand Champion Amateur Senior Mare. With such a successful show record, Daisy has set the standards high for the future horses at Circle D Miniatures. We are a boutique breeding program raising approximately 3-5 foals each year. A strict policy of quality not quantity is followed to ensure every horse receives individualized attention each day. Rather than focus on one bloodline, we strive to match which sire is best suited for the individual mare. With this in mind, our goal is to raise a foal that will compete at the highest level in halter and performance. Our horses compete annually at local, regional and national level shows across the country. We are blessed to have a huge support team, and our motto is teamwork makes the dream work! Show season was a whirlwind, but it has come to an end with the AMHR Nationals and AMHA World Show! These ponies were such rockstars, & we are so proud of them all! Each one came home with at least a Reserve National Championship! 💙 Results are on each individual picture!

There are still lots of fun things happening in quarantine! Erica’s Pharaohs Heart Throb “Dunkin” is currently breeding all of our very best mares! Not only is he stunning, but he has the most incredible show attitude while also being very sweet and well mannered. What is even more impressive is that he is an open National Champion AND a Congress Champion senior stallion. He is also sired by National Grand Champion D&S A Pharaohs Fortune, out of a full sister to Erica’s Tiny Trotter of Wall Street, and a full brother to a National Grand Champion!

Here is a real gem for someone. “Soho” is a young Shetland bred mare who is absolutely stunning and easy to get in foal. She is a multiple supreme champion and a National Top 5 mare. She had a c**t this year by Rivenburghs Jess Majestic that can be included with this dam. I really encourage anyone interested to come see this beautiful girl in person - she is my absolute favorite AMHA/AMHR mare on the farm. Our new program with the Shetlands just means we have to sell some of the Miniature broodmares, and she is way too nice to sit around. "Sammie" is the only sibling we will have to our 7 time World Champion and World GRAND Champion mare, CD Rowdy's She Be Jammin! She is a double granddaughter of the impeccable stallion, Lucky Four Rebels Chasin Rainbows, who is now in Australia. "Sammie" is basically a clone of her beautiful dam pictured below, and she has four crosses back to Sids Rebel in her pedigree. She is naturally fit, refined, has a long well set neck and lots of show attitude.

She super super sweet which makes her ideal for any youth. The ONLY reason she is for sale is because we are focusing on our Shetlands.

The first show of the year was a success! The highlights were Double K's She's A Sassy Kid bringing home an Open Champion of Champions, Under, two youth Champion of Champions, Under and a first out of 12 in the Amateur Halter Mares! Candylands Protest This Investment brought home two 2nd's and a 1st out of 9 in our amateur country class, Reserve in the Stake, 1st out of 20 in Liberty and two Reserve Grands in the Open Senior Geldings! He even placed in the huge Hunter classes with no refusals!
