Our focus is a holistic approach to animal health, and we emphasize natural remedies and healthy diets. Our veterinarian, Dr. Larry Siegler is trained in many alternative approaches to pet health care, along with traditional methods, which we have been practicing for over 20 years. Our practice offers treatments that are not offered at other holistic practices in the area, such as ozone therapy, h

omotoxicology, and class IV laser therapy, in addition to acupuncture, chinese and western herbs, and homeopathy.

Why do dogs eat grass? We’re here to dispel a common myth and offer other possible reasons for this common pup behavior.

🌱 If it’s early spring and they’re casually grazing on fresh grass, don’t sweat it. The grass tastes sweet and good! Just make sure you’re in an area that doesn’t use chemicals and is away from busy roads.

🌱 If they’re intent on eating grass, not selective and eating fast, they’re most likely trying to make themselves throw up. If this happens often, see your vet so you can get to the bottom of the issue.

🌱 If they’re selectively grazing, they may be searching for micronutrients missing from their diet. This pup is a great candidate for Green Juju! We hear all the time that grass-eating subsides when our greens blends are added, and it comes back if our greens are missed.

The bottom line is that dogs eating grass may be for a variety of reasons. It's rarely a cause for alarm but often a good window into what your pup might be asking for more of in their bowl!

Things have been happening since last month and our Vashon office is almost set up and ready! We should likely be open by the end of March. We will keep you posted on a date!

As far as business in office we will be starting slow and mostly providing acupuncture at first, however we will be able to send records again soon, as well as filling supplements and meds to ship for existing clients. We are excited to get back up and running!!

All good things must come to an end 😪

We are officially moved out of the Redmond office and it is truly the end of an era! It’ll be a bit before we start moving forward in transition to Vashon Island. We will keep you posted here on our page as that progresses.

A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our amazing clients and patients spanning the past few decades! It has been a privilege to have you trust in us with the care of your beloved dogs & cats (and a couple rabbits) over the years. We are fortunate to have had so many of you become like family and to have known and loved so many of your pets❤️🐕🐈❤️

We are closed 😐
The office is being all packed up for the move later in the week. Staff will still be in for the next couple weeks to send records. Don’t worry, if you’ve requested records we have a long list to send and will get to that after the packing.
We are not seeing patients, or refilling medications or taking questions. Dr siegler still has some blood work to follow up on and will be doing that.

Let us know what refills you need ASAP!!!

Time is ticking and we encourage you to stock up on a few months worth of refills, as we are closing and will be unable to refill medications and supplements in the office after December 2nd.
Please let us know what you need by Tuesday Nov 29th so we have time to order anything that may be needed for you.
After Tuesday Dec 6 the clinic will be mostly packed and moved out as far as our stock, so we will not be able to take refill requests from that week ongoing. At that point we will not be seeing patients and will only be doing records requests for the first few weeks of December.

Only 3 weeks to go—our last day seeing patients in Redmond will be Friday December 2, 2022 and we are booked until then!😪

We can do medication refills up until that Friday, but if you are needing to stock up with a few months supply of your pets’ meds and supplements, PLEASE notify us before thanksgiving in case we need to order more of what you need.

After December 2, things will be moved out of the building so we won’t be able to fill meds and supplements here—but we potentially can still call drugs in to human and online pharmacies.

For the first few weeks of December, we will still have staff here a few days a week to send records to other vets (or directly to you if preferred). But there will be no appointments with Dr Siegler or staff for tech appointments, and our final closure will be late December in Redmond.

The timeline of getting things up and running on Vashon is still uncertain. Any clients still planning to travel to the island should be prepared for a lapse in any contact or getting any medications filled. Keep looking at this page for updates, but being there could be a solid 2 months where Dr Siegler will not be treating or seeing patients, or be reachable, we encourage you to make alternate plans now.

This is not pleasant to say, but being we are completely full already, it’s time to consider other vets in the area that can help you for the time being; and potentially help with your pet’s care ongoing even if you do plan to continue some of your pet’s care with Larry on Vashon.

As most of you know, Dr Siegler is relocating to Vashon at year end, and the time left in Redmond is growing short.
Our appointment availability is becoming very limited! We are close to booking out all of October, and some November days are full already. December 2nd 2022 will be the last day we see appointments in Redmond. With high demand and limited availability, we’ve had to change policy a bit...

At this point, appointments cancelling with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to the full office fee charge. If you miss an appointment, or arrive so late that we don’t have time to see your pet before the next visit arrives, it is possible there will be no option to reschedule.
Please do your best to keep your appointment and be on time! Plan for bad traffic, especially during the morning commute times. The remaining appointments are precious time that we do not want going to waste when a patient may need to be seen. If you must cancel, please give as much notice as possible.
Thank you!! It’s a tough time to juggle seeing all the patients that may still need to get in while there is time left.
