I just realized that I forgot to post the 3rd and best day results for the cat show that we attended in August!

Day 3 at the Econo Cat Club South Central Regional Show in Denver, Colorado, August 13, 2023:

Dawson is proving to be everything we had hoped for in a show cat! He received multiple first placements in his color class and division and out of 6 shows received two 1st place and two 3rd place Best of Breed awarded! He was then able to move on to compete in 2 Finals where he was awarded 4th place in both competitions!
(In the Finals he competed against the first place winners for all long haired breed kittens at the show!)

Iggy was really enjoying the show today and was doing her best to try and meet the cats she was competing against by trying to reach around and touch them in their cages lol! She was awarded six 1st place placements in her color class, two 1st and four 2nd place in her division and received a 2nd place in Best of Breed!

Day 2 at the Econo Cat Club South Central Regional Show in Denver, Colorado:

This was a very eventful day!

We brought one of our queens, Sasha, with us because she was due to whelp kittens any day. She jumped on my pillow and meowed in my ear early Saturday morning to let me know she was in labor. She gave us 4 beautiful kittens!

Dawson showed well in the beautiful class of 14 maine c**n kittens. He received multiple first placements in his color class and division and out of 6 shows received two 2nd place and one 3rd place Best of Breed!

Iggy was much happier today and had some fun! In a very nice class of 13 maine coins, she received multiple 1st and 2nd placements in her color class and division and received a 3rd place in Best of Breed!

It was great to visit with my sister and brother in law, Diana and Mike, who were visiting the Denver area clear from Oklahoma and stopped to see us and the cat show for a couple of hours!

Alaysha and I brought Dawson to his first cat show show and Iggy to her second TICA cat show in Denver, Colorado. The Econo Cat Club has done a wonderful job putting on the show!
FIRST DAY - August 11, 2023
I couldn’t be more impressed with Dawson (Comainec**ns Dawson Diamond Mountain). I can’t thank Katarina Ever’s enough for this beautiful kitten! He is confident and playful when being handles for the judge and even stretches our nicely on the pole! On Friday he competed in 5 rings and was awarded two First Place and and one Second Place in a beautiful entry of 14 maine c**n kittens from all accross the country!! He competed in one Final and was awarded 6th place (out of all kittens of all breeds entered in the show)!!!

Beautiful Iggy (Diamond Mountain Iggy)was in a bad mood after being groomed for the show. She did not appreciate getting tangled pulled out of her pants, her bath, or being blow dried at all! She was also tired after helping Sasha keep us up half the night in the hotel room. (Playing on our pillows, meowing in our ears, etc. lol). So she wasn’t thrilled about being at the show and let the judges know it. She still placed in color class and divisions multiple times but no breed placings.

Alaysha is right on top of everything happening at the show! She knows when each cat is due to be in the show ring and enjoys taking both cats to the show ring. It was a long day and we were exhausted but we have been having lots of fun!

Henry is a very sweet and affectionate maine c**n kitten! He is 4 months old and has finished his kitten vaccination series and has been neutered. He is ready for a family that will love him as much as we do!

Our sweet Ellie will get her last kitten booster and a rabies shot this week, then she is ready to love and be loved by a new family. When she isn’t cuddling with us or exploring the house, She loves sitting on high places and watching everything going on around her. With her striking black and orange coat she reminds me of Halloween! She is going to be BIG.

Igor was little bit more comfortable in his second day competing in the Econo Cat Club show in Brighton, CO… but he still made it clear to every judge that he would prefer to be at home lol! He competed in 6 championship rings and was awarded 2nd place in three of the rings, over some really nice cats! We love and enjoy this sweet boy so much!!!

Second day at the Econo Club cat show in Brighton was so much fun! Before the show started, Alaysha walked around the show building with Iggy in her arms or on a leash. It helped! Iggy was a lot more comfortable in the show ring ♥️. She competed in 6 rings where she was awarded Best Maine C**n Kitten 3 times, and was awarded second place 3 times. She was then able to compete in 3 finals where she was awarded 1st place in the Specialty competition, 1st place in one of the All Breed Competitions, and 4th place in the other All Breed Competition!!!! We are very excited for this kitten’s future!!

Igor competed in his first show at the Econo Cat Club show in Brighton, Colorado yesterday. He is not thrilled to be here…just too much hustle and bustle going on! It can be very hard for an adult cat to be comfortable at shows if they didn’t get the experience as a kitten. Considering that, he did pretty well. He was shown in 6 rings and was awarded one 2nd and one 3rd place for the Maine C**n breed.

Iggy competed in the 4-8 month long hair kitten class at her first TICA cat show yesterday. She is a bit nervous with all of the weird commotion but did great! Her girl, Alaysha, did a great job getting Iggy to each ring and settled into her show cage on time. Iggy competed in 5 All Breed Rings, 1 Specialty Ring and 2 Finals! She placed 1st in two rings, 2nd in 4 rings, 4th in the Specialty Kitten Final and 2nd in an All Breed Final!!
