Olivia Tibbetts is the newest riding instructor here at Cold Brook Stables. She’s been riding and teaching here at CBS since summer 2020 and has loved every minute of it!

Olivia is a student at SUNY Cobleskill in Cobleskill New York. She’s currently working on a Bachelors of Technology in Therapeutic Horsemanship where she’s learning to teach both traditional and adaptive riding lessons. She hopes to take the PATH exam to get her CTRI in September.

She’s been riding horses ever since she could sit up in a saddle. Most of her training has been in Western Pleasure riding, but she’s also done some western gaming and currently rides and shows on her college’s Hunt Seat team where she’s learning more about English riding and jumping.

Olivia is happy to work with all levels of rider, both English and Western. She works very well with anxious riders.

Her favorite horse to ride here at CBS is Sabrina, the one eyed paint mare!

Olivia has openings for lessons on most weekdays and a few openings left on Saturdays. If you’re interested in lessons with Olivia, call her at 413-768-0997 to schedule a meet and greet and see if Cold Brook Stables is the place for you!

Lessons are $45 for a 45 minute beginner lesson that includes learning how to groom and tack the horse you’re riding, $30 for a 30 minute beginner lesson (must be cleared by an instructor to groom and tack on your own), a $30 30 minute intermediate/advanced lesson, or a $60 60 minute intermediate/advanced lesson. Must be able to groom and tack on your own for intermediate/advanced lessons.
