RETIRING!

Tomorrow is my first day of retirement. 🛌 Today, I got to spend my last day with some pretty cool cats. 😻

It has been an absolute, amazing career and I've gotten to meet some wonderful people as well. Thank all of you who trusted me to take care of your precious family members over the last 8 years. Many of you didn't know me at all, so it meant a lot to me that you hired me! 😊

I've had the opportunity to get to know a variety of dog breeds, cat breeds and even a couple of bird breeds that I probably wouldn't have the opportunity to spend time with otherwise. I got to learn about the care of chickens, hermit crabs, guinea pigs, salt water fish, and tropical fish. What fun!!

We're already halfway through July!! These were the last times I'll be seeing these special cuties. 😘😕 As many of you know, I'll be retiring at the end of July (July 31st is my last day).

📣Spread the word for those in need of Rabies and Distemper Vaccines for their fur babies. 🐾
🟢RABIES VACCINE: Puppies and kittens must be at least 3 months old.
🟢 DISTEMPER VACCINE: Puppies and kittens must be at least 8 weeks old
🟢A record of prior rabies & distemper vaccination is required for a three-year immunization certificate. If no record is presented, a one-year vaccination certification will be issued.
🟢 All dogs must be on a leash. *No retractable leashes are permitted.
🟢All cats must be secured in a crate. *Leashes are not permitted for cats.
🟢 All pets must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is able to hold the animal during vaccination.
🟢ONE PERSON PER SPECIES: If you have dogs AND cats, we require one person to handle only dogs and one person to handle only cats as each species will be seen at opposite ends of the building. Dogs will be seen through the side entrance in our kennel area, and cats will enter through the front door and will exit through the side door on Hall Street. If you do not have someone to assist you with your pets, we request that you bring only dogs one month, and please come back another month with your cats.
🟢 Cleaning up after your pet is required.
🟢 Please maintain control over your animal and keep away from other animals as much as possible.
Upon Arrival:
🟡If the parking lot is full, please park across the street.
🟡The clinic entrance for DOGS ONLY will be at the far end of the building, closest to the grass. Please dress accordingly as you may be waiting outside.
🟡The clinic entrance for CATS ONLY will be at the main front entrance. Cats and their owners will then exit through the side Grooming door on Hall Street.
🟡Clinic will be held rain or shine.
Vaccinations are first come, first serve. When the doses are gone, clinic will close. We will do our best to minimize waiting and alert you when we have no doses available.

Another angel is at the rainbow bridge. Yesterday, Lola's mom made the very hard decision to let her go. I've had the privilege to get to know her for just a short time and she was a huge dog with a huge heart of gold. R.I.P., Lola. You left a big hole in a lot of hearts. 💔

Recently I learned that Peach (a.k.a Peachie Pie) passed away. She was funny, fun loving and so beautiful. Always had to grab a toy on her way out, but might not bring it back inside. 😉 She was the queen of her hill and yard, and demanded things from the cabinet even though I wasn't always sure what it was that she wanted. Beauty and talent all in one package. You're missed very much, Peach! 💔

It was too hot to walk a few days. Threw some favorite treats in Paisley's toy box for her to find. She was less than impressed and walked away. 😜😅
