Another successful donation to the local shelters! This time we picked Wolf Trap Animal Rescue which is only 10 minutes down the road! We are so thankful to all our clients that have really taken part in our donation bins in the ER and 3rd floor. It’s thanks to them we’re able to give back to the community and show our support to the amazing shelter staff in the DMV. Which shelter should we pick next? Let Hannah know in the Oncology Dept and she’ll add it to the list! ☺️🐕🐈‍⬛

Each May, we observe National Service Dog Eye Examination Month, which provides complimentary ocular screenings for service and working dogs. These examinations are conducted by board-certified professionals from the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO). Annually, throughout the month of May, Dr. Adkins, a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist and an ACVO diplomate, dedicates her time and resources to this important initiative. Since May 2009, she has served as the head of the ophthalmology department at the Hope Advanced Veterinary Center.
