This poor girl is getting a rinse down (she needs a full bath for sure) but she's not feeling well. Hopefully we'll get someone out here soon to get her fixed up. We use this golf cart so much to haul hay and feed up the slope to the barnyard animals. Seems small engine repair is HARD to find!

DONATE LOCALLY
We all know the value of shopping local - we help support business owners in our communities , their families and friends, not big corporate conglomerates. But what about your donations? The charities? Here is one example:
According to the ASPCA’s latest tax return:
CEO Matt Bershadker makes nearly $1 million a year–$881,785 in base salary and $108,740 in benefits. That works out to $424 an hour for his salary.
Other top executives earn huge salaries of $468,538, $420,613, and $385,415 (and more).
Overall, 259 individuals earn at least $100,000 in compensation.
The ASPCA has about $11 million offshore in the Caribbean. The ASPCA gets a “C” grade from CharityWatch, which calculates that 42% of the ASPCA’s budget is spent on overhead.
WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE THE ANIMALS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO SAVE?
When you give LOCALLY you support those in need in YOUR COMMUNITY. I don't know of any local animal rescue (not Humane Societies) where the operators and volunteers receive anything other than perhaps reimbursements for expenses.
Check the 501(c)3 status, the tax benefits are the same, but you are helping hard working individuals save, feed and house animals close to home and close to heart.

The fish coming up to the surface of the pond for a snack in the evening.
We have a very large pond here at the Barnyard so if you have extra goldfish you'd like to remove from your Koi pond or even koi that you would like to rehome we are equipped.

Anyone need community service hours? We need help in the barnyard to get ready for winter and need volunteers. Because we are a public charity and approved 501c3 by the IRS we can sign off on community service hours.
