What a wild and wonderful weekend! I enter Maise into an IABCA show as a warm up for the shows we are leaving for in 2 weeks. Little did I dream that she would win Best In Show Bred By Exhibitor all 4 shows! And now has an International Champion title with IABCA! When Maise was 5 months old she was at this venue and was Best In Show Puppy 3 of the 4 shows.
Along with the joy of showing being with old friends and making new ones is why I love this sport so much!! And yes with my trusty knee brace I did just fine running around the ring!!

Need to get some health testing done?? There will be an OFA eye and OFA X-ray clinic on Saturday! Entries close tomorrow!

Entries for our Annual AKC show close tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12pm!

Grooming and RV reservations will also close tomorrow!

Hello dogshow friends that are heading to DesMoines this weekend!!! I won't be able to attend, but my good Airedale friend Erin Leigh Aten reserved a double spot and wants to know if anyone would like to groom with her and split the cost!! She got a nice spot pretty close to rings!

Calling on all my dog friends!! I have a neighbor who sadly due to last week's Blizzard could not get her Momma dog in to the vet when problems arose with whelping and lost the mom and some pups. There are 2 surviving pups that they are bottle feeding and helping eliminate. They are St. Barnard pups. Do any of my Nebraska friends have a bitch that is nursing pups? Would a bitch accept week old babies? Any help from knowledgeable breeders welcome.

This BEAUTIFUL girl Maise! A year ago at 10 months old she got her POA award from AKC and Today... Maise got her Grand Champion Certificate from AKC!! Very limited showing and also ended the year at #12 Owner Handled Airedale 💗 of course her Dad, Chaz was #4!

And sweet little Minnie Pearl, Donpanaire Wearing Pearls From Reydaleterrydale was Winners Bitch!! These 2 girls make me smile all the time!! Was wonderful seeing all the dogshow family today, Maisw took Best of Breed and OH. But no love in groups. Now we are homeward bound and this Grammy has cake to bake and a gift to wrap!!

Call all Airedale friends.... who is thinking about showing at the Ozark Mt. Fall Classic? Nov 9th-12th Springfield MO. As of now there are 5 possible entries...judge panel is Jean Nelson, Karen McFarlane, Jon Cole, and John Wade. Entries close Oct 25th with Foy as superintendents.

So much fun last night!! Got to work with Jax aka Mr Blue who is 8 months old now! Minnie Pearls brother! And my sweetheart boy CH Donpanaire A Boy Named Sue "Cash" had fun running around the ring like old times and he had a blast! My heart is full!!

Update:: Charlie Bleu is doing much better today!! No more fever and a happy boy!!

Been a rough morning for sweet Charlie Bleu, he woke up lethargic and running a temperature. Off the our amazing vet at York Animal Clinic! Xrays and bloodwork, antibiotics and anti inflation drugs. His bloodwork was mostly in the normal range but has a slightly enlarged prostate. He is home resting now and I will be watching him closely, going back for another check up Friday. So thankful it wasn't connected to his previous bloat!

What a weekend! Donpanaire Airedales had a fantastic showing!! From our first litter 3 yr old GCH CH Donpanaire A League Own BCAT " Dottie" was Select Bitch both days for 2 5pt Majors!
From litter #2 Reydaleterrydale Lethal Weapon "Riggs" was Reserve Winners Dogs both days, and his litter mate sister "Maise" is now a new CH Donpanaire Serving The Drinks At Reydaleterrydale, was Best of Breed Saturday over CHs Best Bred By Exhibitor, Best of Breed Owner Handler, 5pt Major and went Owner Handler Group 2 that day and also BEST IN SHOW BRED BY EXHIBITOR!! And not to be outdone from litter #3 Donpanaire Wearing Pearls From Reydaleterrydale "Minnie Pearl " was Best Bred By Puppy and went on to be Reserve Winners Bitch both days!

Whewwwww that's a lot! Oh Momma Mila you made such beautiful babies!!!

WOW what a day it has been at the Rochester Kennel Club show. Sweet little Minnie Pearl, Donpanaire Wearing Pearls From Reydaleterrydale at 7 months old was Best Bred By Puppy, and Reserve Winners Bitch! And Maise.... Donpanaire Serving The Drinks At Reydaleterrydale had an unbelievable day!! She was Best Bred By Adult, Winners Bitch, then Best of Winners, and Best Of Bred over Specials for a 5 point Major and pending AKC A New Champion! Then Maise went on to Group 2 Owner Handler and Best In Show Bred By Exhibitor.... Whew what and amazing and exhausting day!! Thanks to all those who cheered us on today!!

Saturday was a completely wonderful surprise and honor to have Best Bred by Bitch and then awarded Winners Bitch for a 5 pt Major!! And thank you to the Wisconsin Airedale Terrier Club for hosting a fantastic specialty, your club has some wonderful people I enjoyed getting to know! Update on Charlie Bleu, he is doing sooooo much better, eating great and happy except for that darn cone! New collar arrives today! Incision is looking really nice.

Definitely acting more like the old Charlie Bleu today! He has been just loving up on me and Doris Ruhnke Also ate a good breakfast this morning! Tomorrow the blow up ring collar will be here and we can get rid of this cone of shame!
