I have worked in the animal industry all my life, starting with assisting to raise and groom show dogs, to working in the scientific animal husbandry field, in veterinary reception, and managing and running grooming, boarding and daycare facilities. Given the extent of my experience and knowledge I felt it was time to take on my own venture and tailor my strengths to helping people and their dogs

achieve their health and wellness goals through grooming in a playful and relaxed setting. The vision I have for my salon is to offer the unique experience to dogs that grooming is not something to be feared, and concurrently, to every pet parent that their pet is coming here to be cared for with compassion and understanding. Every dog that comes through my doors is given the opportunity to take several hours to adjust to our grooming environment without the unnecessary use of cages and through the use of guided play, we help them to relax, and earn their trust and respect. If we feel there is a need, we have separate spaces where we can offer dogs time to decompress and relax away from the commotion.

Mr. Diamond is a 3 year old (he’ll be 4 on July 17th!) Pitt mix with the sweetest temperament you could hope for!! He is one of our regulars at FHTT, gets along well with dogs of all sizes and loves kids!!

Sadly Diamond’s mom has just been diagnosed with a condition that will prevent her from giving Diamond the active life he deserves. With a broken heart she has chosen to put his needs above her own and find him a forever home that can give him the daily walks and play sessions he needs.

Diamond is up to date on all shots and had a physical in December, other than sometimes getting a bit sore in his right hip from too much playing, he’s a healthy boy! Mom keeps him on monthly heartworm and flea and tick prevention, and will continue to pay for 6 months of his pet insurance for his new family and is also more than happy to watch him if his new family goes on vacation.
