Paws of Southwest

A nonprofit community organization comprising dog owners and residents in the ANC-6D neighborhood of SW Washington, DC.

The Paws of Southwest is building community through a love of our dogs. Sponsored by the Southwest Neighborhood Assembly, The Paws of Southwest is focused on creating an off-leash dog park at Lansburgh Park, located on Delaware Ave., SW. We also know that dogs can help bring together people in a community, and we want to build on that by providing ways for people to have fun with their dogs, educate our neighbors about dogs as companions, as well as promote responsible dog ownership.

Contest, Pet Photographer, MPD Canine Demos, Raffles and Prizes!

Bring your pups and come to support many local DC pet vendors as well!

The Mutt Strutt around SW DC begins at 1130am!

It's going to be a beautiful day on Saturday so get outside and bring your pups!
