Swan Lake Blue Rock Classic 🏆

Congratulations to Julia Babington for being named best junior rider! Her own Cesandro was awarded grand junior hunter champion after earning champion in the small 3'3 juniors, winning 4 of the classes. Cesandro also finished 12th in the USHJA national derby. Castiel WB and Julia won the ASPCA Maclay, USEF medal and the NCEA medal as well as finishing 2nd in the USHJA jump seat medal! Way to go Julia, we are so proud of your hard work and determination!

Congratulations to Savannah Shaver and her own Bon Temps on a great weekend in the 3'3 large junior hunters finishing in the top ribbons, including finishing 3rd in the combined junior hunter classic with a total score of 167! They also took home 7th out of a huge group in the USHJA junior/amature derby!

Congratulations to Carly Roberts and Hurricane LCH. Their first show back together after Carly's freshman year at UGA! Together they won the THIS adult medal, and placed 2nd in the Ariat adult medal! They also had a great weekend in the 3'3 amateur owners with great ribbons including an over fences class win! Looking forward to the rest of the summer!!

Swan Lake St. Christopher's horse show 🏆
Congratulations to all of our riders on a great weekend despite the unfortunate weather conditions!

⭐ Bordeaux and Skyler Ward came home champions of the 3'3 small junior hunters. They also picked up great ribbons in the 3'3 hunt seat medals.
⭐Castiel WB and Julia Babington won the ushja jump seat medal and the NHS medal. They also finished 2nd in the ASPCA Maclay! Julia also had super consistent rounds in the 3'3 junior hunters with Cesandro, including picking up 2nd in the handy round!
⭐Paint The Wind and Molly Buytenhuys had great rounds in the high children's jumpers and stepped up to the 1.15 for the first time!
⭐Magic Lady H and Karen Nguyen had consistent rounds in the younger children's hunters and picked up ribbons in the children's medals. They also finished 12th in their first derby together!
⭐Killian's Red and Julia Buytenhuys were reserve champion in the low thoroughbred hunters, with an over fences win and the undersaddle win! Julia also had great rounds in the younger children's hunters with her own Ghibli De Montfort.

Showday National @ Hits Culpeper

Julia Babington had a banner weekend with all three of her mounts, Cesandro, Castiel and Hurricane LCH. Huge thank yous to the Roberts family for sharing Spartacus with Julia this weekend.

Cesandro was champion in the 3'3 small junior hunters and finished 2nd in the combined junior classic.

Castiel WB wins the USHJA jump seat medal and the NAL medal!! He also finished 2nd in the USEF medal, 2nd in the NHS and 3rd in the Maclay.

Hurricane LCH wins the MHSA medal! They also brought home 2nd in the 3'6 VHSA medal and the NCEA. And 5th in the Gittings and the VHSA equitation on the flat out of huge groups.

Showday National @ Hits Culpeper

🏆Bon Temps and Savannah Shaver champion in the 3'3 large juniors! They also finished 2nd in the NAL medal, 3rd in the NHS and 4th in the NCEA. A great first time together in the 3'3 equitation classes, congratulations Savannah!!

🏆 Bordeaux and Skyler Ward win the NCEA medal!! They also finished 3rd in the VHSA flat and had super trips in the 3'3 small junior hunters. Great job Skyler!!

Showday National recap 🏆 congratulations to all of our riders and horses on a super successful weekend at Hits Culpeper. We are so proud of everyone's hard work and determination that shown through in the show ring. Huge thank yous to Courtney Sloan and Cindy Levin for their hard work behind the scenes ensuring all of the horses got to the ring looking and feeling their best!

🏆Ciko and Courtney Sloan took home 3rd in the VHSA child/adult medal. Ciko also won his class in the 1.0 jumpers with Natalie Kopp

🏆Magic Lady H and Karen Nguyen returned to the show ring with a super consistent weekend in the younger children's hunters and a good round for their first time in the Gittings medal!

🏆Diadora and Madison Meiers conquered Dora's first show at such a large venue. They put in great trips in the pre children's hunters and junior equitation division. Dora learned so much from the experience and improved tremendously with each day.

🏆Hesterbea KS and Kenzie Wright had a super easy weekend with great trips in the 1.0 low children's jumpers!

Congratulations to our riders and horses who attended the Gary Baker classic and McDonough! Skyler Ward and her own Bordeaux finished reserve champion in the 3'3 younger junior hunters. They also took the win in the Josey Mohler medal and 2nd in the Gittings medal. Ghibli De Montfort had a great week with super consistent trips in both the 3' greens and the older children's hunters! Great start to the spring 🌷

Congratulations to Skyler Ward and Bordeaux on winning the MHSA medal and having super consistent trips in the 3'3 junior hunters. Including a win in the handy!

Congratulations as well to Julia Babington for winning the ASPCA Maclay, 2nd in the MHSA medal and 2nd in the USEF medal aboard Castiel WB. They also came home reserve champion in the 3'6 junior hunters. Cesandro and Julia also posted very consistent rounds all weekend picking up great ribbons in the 3'3 junior hunters!

Wrapping up our two weeks down south with great results from both riders and horses!

🏅Dylan Buckley moved up to the 1.0 children's jumpers with her mount PS Duty Calls

🏅Carly Roberts and Hurricane LCH had super consistent rounds in the 3'3 amateur owners yet again. They also finished 2nd in the Ariat adult medal and wrapped up the top 12 in the 3'6/3'9 hunter derby

🏅Julia Babington and Castiel WB had super consistent rounds in the equitation all weekend. Taking home 3rd in the 15-17 equitation on the flat, 6th out of a huge group in the USEF hunt seat medal, and 4th in the USHJA jump seat medal AND the NCEA medal!

Back home in VA the other half of the crew is crushing it as well! Skyler Ward and Bordeaux won the NCEA medal and Molly Buytenhuys and Paint The Wind won the NHS medal a couple weekends ago at Swan Lake Stables! Super exciting to see great results in the equitation ring across the board!

We had a great first week at WEC Ocala. Many laughs and smiles to be shared and best of all plenty of sunshine. Huge thanks to the entire team that works endlessly to make this happen, and an extra thanks to Courtney Sloan for making the trip to help us this weekend!

🏅PS Duty Calls and Dylan Buckley were second in every class and the classic in the Novice Children's Jumpers bringing home reserve champion in the division

🏅 Hurricane LCH and Carly Roberts laid down beautiful courses in both the 3'3 amateur owners and the adult medals. This pair consistently scored in the 80s all weekend in the hunter and equitation rings, ending the weekend with an 84 in the amateur owner handy!

🏅Castiel WB and Julia Babington were 11th out of 42 in the Jr/Am hunter derby! They also took 8th out of a huge group their first time together in the USHJA jump seat medal and had great trips in the Maclay and USEF medal!

The Barracks December show! Huge congratulations to Carly Roberts and Julia Babington on an awesome weekend!! Thank you to everyone who lent a helping hand this week and to everyone at the barracks for hosting such a fun and hospitable show!

Hurricane LCH took home first in the VHSA adult eq flat, the Ariat adult medal and a 3'3 amateur owner over fences class. He also finished third in the VHSA adult medal and picked up other great ribbons in the aos.

Castiel WB won the NHS medal! He also finished 3rd in the Maclay and 3rd out of 46 in the 'Lets Be Merry' Derby!

Constitution classic @ hits Culpeper

Congratulations to all of our riders on a great weekend, highlight include:

⭐Skyler Ward and Bordeaux reserve champion in the younger childrens hunters! They also finished second in the VHSA childrens medal.

⭐Julia Babington finished 9th in the USHJA national derby and also picked up good ribbons in the 3'3 small junior hunters. They finished up the weekend with a score of 84 in the second round of the junior hunter classic!

⭐Heidi Davis picked up consistent ribbons across both the 3'3 amateur owners and the adult amateurs on her horses Beaudacious and Understated.

⭐Julia Babington picked up the reins on Molly Buytenhuy's Paint The Wind for the 3' childrens medals finishing top 3 in all of their classes. Huge thanks to the Buytenhuys family for giving Julia this opportunity!!

Congratulations to all who showed at the Bay State Classic!
⭐️Julia Babington and her own Cesandro were reserve champion in the 3'3 junior/amatuers winning one of the over fences and top ribbons across the other classes. They also finished 4th in the combined classic and 2nd in the gittings!
⭐️Carly Roberts and Hurricane LCH won the 17u equitation flat and finished 4th in the gittings. They wrapped up the day with a 2nd in the Maclay which qualifies them for Maclay Regionals!
⭐️Skyler Ward and Bordeaux picked up top ribbons across the 3' and 3'3 medals, and in the combined childrens hunters. They finished 3rd in the Josey Mohler medal and 3rd in the classic.

Congratulations to all of our riders and horses who competed at Swan Lake this past weekend!!

⭐️ Julia Babington and Cesandro were reserve champion in the 3'3 junior hunters and 4th in the combined classic, which qualifies this pair for junior hunter finals 2024!!

⭐️Molly Buytenhuys and Paint The Wind won champion in the low children's jumpers. They also competed in both of theirs first national Derby finishing 4th!

⭐️Julia Buytenhuys and her own Ghibli de Montfort got to play in each ring this weekend, picking up top ribbons with consistent rounds in the children's equitation, children's hunters, and .90 jumpers. They finished Saturday reserve champion in the .90s and then wrapped up Sunday on a score of 81 in the children's hunters!!

⭐️Heidi Davis picked up reserve champion in the 3'3 adult amateurs and finished 5th in the USHJA national Derby!

We are beyond proud of how much progress has been made this past spring and summer for both horses and riders. Congratulations to all, and big thanks to everyone who chips in to make weekends like this possible!
