Bags of "coal" for even the good ponies! The coal is black Himalayan salt. $3 a bag, I can make up more than shown here.
Halter and pad sets for sale! Foxes and coffee/cocoa, and llamas!
Working on our broomball skills this morning 🌅
I would like to formally introduce our rescue to everyone. If you donated tack after the tack sale this is who you directly helped as I took the leftover tack to the auction to be sold and I bought this guy. He is a standardbred that was born with the name Tenaciously T and raced under the name Prince of Glory. We know nothing of his past. (Probably Amish after the track). He was led through the sale with no story, no emotion and very few bidders. He had some fresh kicks marks from either the sale or his trailer ride to the sale. He is the sweetest creature ever. It going to be so hard to wait out quarantine to love on him the way he deserves. Stay Tuned!
Reminder to get those lessons booked with gift certificates that expire December 31!
We head home today. These 2 ponies and kids were amazing ambassadors for the mustang breed!
Look at these rockstars!
Ally and Wade enjoying their walk to the saddle fitting demo.
When your rep comes to the barn to snuggle with your pony!
So impressed with this pony and kid!
They are the cutest!
Live in the coliseum!
We are in stalls 179 and 180 in E barn
Heading to our first clinic in Mallory south with Julie Goodnight!
Ponys are chill and cozy in their stalls.
Ready to go!
Thank you to everyone that helped make the tack sale a success for the girls. They raised $925 today from sale spaces, tack sales, food sales, raffles, and 50/50. That combined with the nearly $1400 they raised from their other fundraising efforts and private donations means nothing out of pocket for their parents. The last month has been a whirlwind of prep for this upcoming week. Be prepared for lots of post! And thank you again to everyone that donated money, time tack, everything!
Thank you everyone!!! The girls made enough to pay for everything!
Stonewall tack donated this bucket full of stuff valued over $60! Tickets are $2 each or 3/$5.
Yesterday marked our one year anniversary of Ida. This video is from November 18 last year of Sahara and Ida sharing some of their first touches. It is amazing the bond they have and how far they have come in a year. Please consider donating to their equine affaire fund if you can. Venmo is in the comments.

We had a fun morning with some really great costumes followed with some really great food. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun!
The second pair going to Equine Affair is Ida and Sahara. I picked Ida up November 2022. The girls all worked together gentling the 5 mares that we had. In March Sahara was the first person to ever sit on Ida's back. Sahara (with Andrea and Emma's assistance) has done all of Ida's under saddle training. They are the cutest pair!
Check out Andrea's video.
I wanted to take some time to highlight the mustangs and riders going to Equine Affair. The first pair is Ally and Wade. Wade was selected from a BLM adoption event in June 2022 with the plan for him to be my son Ian's pony. Ally helped with Wade's gentling from the beginning and early on Wade picked Ally as his person. This summer after receiving his title Wade officially became Ally's. We are so excited for this opportunity for them!
Check out Andrea's video.
Is it your dream to gentle and own your own piece of American heritage? I know of some really nice mustangs looking for their person. If interested message me. We can help with selection and training.
Please drop off your cans and bottles at the barn to help support the girls participating in clinics at equine affair in Massachusetts.
Eeks! I'm so excited for the 2 girls that got selected to participate at equine affair! Now comes the adult stress about money, as this is going to cost over $1500. We are hosting a tack sale but what are some other fundraising options? Or anyone want to help sponsor?
