Need some (adorable) trouble in your life? Get goats. He is stuck because he is growing and his head really doesn't through the fence anymore and he doesn't just walk around (the gate is currently open). Goats with horns are much worse and can get stuck easily as their horns lock them in even if the hole in the fence is larger than their head.

All is well at Sugar Rush Farms, just some minor damage. The hurricane itself was centered far away and hit the west coast of Florida hard. However, yesterday afternoon it spawned a number of tornadoes. The winds picked up here and blew farm structure roofing off. Power was out overnight but is restored. Florida's west coast needs most of the help; we are ok here.

I lost contact with April and Leo who live about 5 min away and went over to check on them. The tornado was close and visible from their backyard so they moved their goats inside. So far they and I am fine though communication is spotty. We still have power.

This morning I said goodbye to my beloved Arya, my fierce and loyal companion. Arya was a Royal Bahamian Potcake and a rescue from A Second Chance Rescue, who brought so much love, joy, and bravery into my life. She was my little warrior, chasing away raccoons, possums, and even dogs three times her size to protect our home and the livestock. Named after the fierce character from Game of Thrones, Arya truly lived up to her name. Through life's ups and downs, she was always by my side, always happy even with old age and arthritis. I miss her deeply and knew something was wrong when she didn't greet the day with me. Rest easy, sweet girl. You will always be in my heart.

New addition. Not a goat. . .this time.

The goats think I'm in charge of the food supply (true) and the weather (false). They were not happy about all this rain and were busy filling complaints with HR and voicing their displeasure until I distracted them with food.
