With everyone finally relaxing after the storm, I'd like to remind everyone that storms always mean more work. Most shelters with nurseries have staff dedicated to sleeping inside to make sure the animals are safe and taken care of. Here's some glimpses of the babies taking up my rainy days

This weekend I took on a challenge that many other groomers would of denied. She's mean and dangerous. Even her owners can NOT handle her. Why did I take on this task? Oh yeah, She's family. I took miss bean in as a foster from a rescue at 3 weeks old. She's just naturally a sass monster. With medication to relax her and a few safety tools I did what was best for her. Not allowing anyone to touch her made managing her matting so much harder. Now I know she is happy, cool in the Florida heat, and free of painful matting. She doesn't seem to hold it against me either lol 🥰😜❤ check out her before and after

So many long hair beauties got bath and blow drys this weekend 😁 long hair cats often need monthly care just too keep that long hair nice and brushed. Free of Matting and ready for the air flow to keep them cool through the Florida heat

VERY SAD UPDATE.....We tried our best, Sparta struggled and passed away surrounded by his siblings.We are heartbroken.
This little 4 week old boy Sparta just went cold, stiff , into a ball and was fading away. My foster rushed him to the ER vet .Almost gone.His blood sugar dropped so low. They gave him fluids, etc
Too much$$ to keep him there so we have a vet tech who will be giving fluids, etc
Please help with this little one to get stable.
