"I died today.
I was found by a kind, sweet woman who does wildlife rescue.
I was so sick, I could barely open my eyes.
She took me inside, cradling me in her warm arms, and made me warm and comfortable.
I opened my eyes and looked at her and thanked her for making my last few minutes as comfortable as possible.
But I was too sick to keep fighting anymore.
I had eaten a mouse that was poisoned, and it made me very sick.
I closed my yellow eyes for the last time and went somewhere else.
Please, all I ask is never use poison to kill the mice.
Poison kills owls, like me.
All I wanted was a mouse for dinner.

Stop the use of poison for rats or mice.
Live traps are the best to use. Catch and release.
It only takes one share to spread the word."

Hey everyone please help find Ferero
The perfect home.
He was intentionally ran over by someone. When that didn’t satisfy their sick and twisted mind they decided to back over him. Ferero was about 4 months old then and is currently around one year old. He has had to fight back and is winning he just needs that special person.

He does not walk of four legs and comes with his own set of wheels.

He is so sweet

*DELAWARE DOG IMPORT RESTRICTIONS*
No dogs are currently allowed to be transported into Delaware from other states for 30 days due to a highly aggressive upper respiratory virus in dogs. The Delaware Department of Agriculture issued this statement:

July 12, 2024: In late June, a disease affecting shelter and rescue dogs, causing upper and lower respiratory signs and death, was identified in Delaware. Clinical signs include lethargy, inappetence, fever, clear or mucopurulent (green) nasal and/or ocular discharge, cough, vomiting, and difficulty breathing. Mycoplasma cynos was isolated from ill dogs at one rescue. The outbreak is suspected to be multifactorial, involving multiple pathogens that comprise the Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex (CIRDC). As of July 11, 2024, three Delaware animal shelters and one private rescue have confirmed respiratory outbreaks in dogs, and another shelter has treated affected dogs as veterinary outpatients.
Under the authority granted in 3 Del. C. § 7101, the Delaware Department of Agriculture has issued the Delaware Control Order Restricting Movement of Shelter and Rescue Dogs Due to Canine Respiratory Disease (CIRDC)

The following are excerpts from our conversation

Nobody died as, we did not have any dogs on board because we had dropped them off Early Saturday morning and we were just headed home. Our two little dogs were with us, but they are safe at the SPCA in Hagerstown Maryland. Scott and I are located at the University of Maryland trauma center. Scotts son is going to arrive today about noon.

I’m going into surgery today we hope to operate on the right ankle and foot.

I can’t wait for Scott to see all of the information.… We just need all the prayers that everybody can send our way will take them all, and for those not so Christian people if they have good thoughts will take them too😅😅😅😅
