This is King this boy totally breaks my heart he is RESCUE ONLY only because of a minor bite! Also he was surrendered by owner because animal control forced them too due to cruelty!! This boy was adopted from here a while back and he doesn’t deserves this he looks so defeated! I’m so sick of people adopting and not taking good care of these dogs!

RiP babies

Today 5 dogs were euthanized due to space. Brandon, Opie, Dixie and Sapphire plus another dog that was not posted. Sadly as soon as they were euthanized a dog was put in their kennel so dogs are in DANGER still.

Jefe is one of our LONGEST RESIDENTS, and we just can't figure out why! He would love nothing more than to find a forever (or even foster!) family to give all his love to!

It doesn't take a lot to make 5-year-old Jefe happy. His favorite things are shaking and tossing his toys around, treats (LOTS of treats), running around in the yard, playing tug-o-war, and REALLY good scratches, the kind that make his leg kick out. His name isn't Jefe for nothing— He's the big man on campus. The boss. Always large and in charge. But don't worry, he's mostly pretty down to earth about it.

Jefe is the kind of pup that you can picture taking up the WHOLE couch, snoring right in the middle of your bed, and patrolling your yard, always keeping order. Which is to say, Jefe would love more than anything to have a home, because he just cannot live up to his full potential here in the shelter! Jefe dreams frolicking in your yard, hunting out toys to entertain himself with, and giving you all the best snuggles. He has lived with other dogs in the past and could be happy to have a canine sibling again in the future.

My name is Greta, I am located in Jacksonville, and worried about whether anyone will be my Earth Angel and Rescue me. I am only 8yrs old and was used to have puppies all my life. I lived outdoors and was never allowed to go in the house--I really didn't receive the love and attention I so desperately needed and wanted.
I need a Hospice Foster Home until my time comes. I hope someone will love me and help me make a bucket list to enjoy for the rest of my time here on earth.

Over 3 years in the shelter. So 😥

3.5 Years without a home…. 3.5 years of being overlooked…

This is the heartbreaking face of Mack that we as volunteers/staff see every single day as he pleads for us to spend time with him…

Mack came to us in 2019 from a very high kill shelter in Georgia. He was friendly and full of energy, but initially did not adjust well to our kennel environment whatsoever. He had some overstimulation issues but with our dedicated volunteers working with him day after day, he has blossomed into an ABSOLUTE angel.

Mack loves people. He is house trained, crate trained and super quiet when left alone. He LOVES to cuddle up at night and LOVES to play with toys. He doesn’t really pull on leash and he is super obedient. Mack does fine walking near and seeing other dogs outside, but he would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

A couple Little's at Big (and small) Dog Ranch today. Giggles and Quincy. Both under 10 # Giggles is 2 and a bit more shy, while Quincy is bouncy and more of a pup. He just had his 1st Birthday. Both will steal your heart
