‼️Caine & Congo , - Urgent Rescue Pickup Needed by SUNDAY, July 14th @ 3.00 p.m. Medical: Geriatric, dental disease, FAS (fear, anxiety, stress).
Staff notes: When they were first brought in, these two doggies were bonded. Caine was easier to take out of the kennel than Congo, as Congo was unhappy and tried to bite at clinic staff. When approaching their kennels, they growl and bark at you. The B&E coordinator fed them treats through the bars to get better pictures of them, and they did enjoy the those as well as when seeing the leash. Eventually, they went back to barking and growling through the cage.
Request to rescues: Caine and Congo are in urgent need of rescue due to their unfriendly behavior in the shelter. They were experiencing FAS symptoms when they were here in June and need some follow-up medical care/dental work with a rescue.
Currently, their needs exceed our capacity of care and we do not want their FAS to persist.
Partner rescue groups can log into SNAP (discover.pbcgov.org/publicsafety/animalcare) and place the hold. If you want to become a Palm Beach County Florida Animal Care & Control rescue partner you can apply online and follow up with an email to to [email protected]
