Nancy Armstrong and Doberman Rescue Concern of West Palm Beach, Florida had a devastating fire. We are fortunate she was able to get all of the Dogs out safely.
Nancy and the Dobermans, most under medical supervision, hospice, or currently unadoptable, are displaced and have lost everything. Nancy is a fierce and tireless animal advocate who has dedicated her life to saving any animal she can. Doberman Rescue Concern is a 501C3. Nancy makes sure every dollar goes to the dogs.

They need our help to find housing while the home is repaired. The dogs are temporarily being fostered by wonderful neighbors, volunteers, and other rescues. This is a temporary situation.

We need to raise funds to support Nancy and the Dogs.

Most of the dogs need daily medication or treatment. They have lost so much.

100% of the funds go to Gillis

Gillis had FHO surgery on Friday and is back with his temporary foster. Apparently his injuries were not recent and the fracture on his ankle had already fused. So sad that this poor baby was in pain for longer than we thought though we still believe his injuries were the result of being hit by a vehicle, just not the day he was found. In spite of what he has been through, his tail still keeps wagging (I'm sure the Fentanyl patch has a lot to do with that although he's just a happy pup).

If you can help with his expenses, contributions are so appreciated and can be sent via Paypal: [email protected] and Doberman Rescue Concern Zelle 561 301-5051.

Cayenne has found her amazing forever home. When we sent her to A K-9 Solutions for training , we never dreamed she and AmandaLynn would form a special bond . Now, besides having a great mom, Cayenne has two BFFs- a GSD and Pitty not to mention buddies who either come for training and/or boarding.
Cayenne’s new life has erased the horrible conditions she endured in Miami. Cayenne, your wonderful new life has begun. A K9 Solution

We’ve had to wait for the cryoprecipitate (made from plasma) because it is difficult to obtain.
he is 14% on the VWD scale and has already shown that he has a clotting problem.
I brought him home as boarding bills were mounting up and we need money for the surgery.
He is the sweetest Dobie ever. Not a mean bone in his poor body.
He’s very thin because he doesn’t care to eat. I’m presuming because the hernia causes pain.
The surgery will be complicated by the fact that his colon is “bunching up” so Dr. Unis (an amazing surgeon) will also have to go in thru his abdomen to fix that problem besides the hernia which requires a mesh. A gastropexy is going to be “thrown in” at the same time.
Doberman Rescue Concern is a 501(c)3 , all volunteer based
100% of all donations go directly to Drako
