Anubis is the newest Doberman in need that DRC has taken in.
He will need full medical work up , Neuter, boarding & supplies.
We could use donations and Fosters to continue to help the dogs under the DRC umbrella.

DOBERMAN RESCUE CONCERN is in need of foster homes in the West Palm Beach area.
Fostering consists of caring for and evaluating a Doberman to the best of your ability. Often times we do not know if they will get along with other animals in your home so you must be able to separate if need be and continue fostering until a permanent home is found.
We also usually do not know if a dog has been around children so to be on the safe side a child free home would be best. We also require a fenced in yard.
Doberman Rescue Concern will supply all food and medical. If interested in helping save a Doberman Pinscher's life, please call Nancy at (561) 301-5051.

Sweet Cammie had to be hospitaized. She was bleeding and had a temp of 106. Vet suspects a stump pyometra - thank you MDAS for another botched spay. Her quarantine boarding charges and now 24 hour hospitalization costs (possibly for another five days, she's been at vet since 6/20) with another surgery looming, are mounting up.
Please consider helping us help her She is the sweetest girl and we will not give up on her.

Sad update 😢

It is with great sadness that I have to write that we lost one of the sweetest Dobies ever to a fatal, aggressive cancer. The surgery, which was supposed to be Monday , was postponed as she was not stable enough. Her left leg had become as swollen as the right and her breathing was very shallow. Additionally it looked as if the infection had spread to two more mammary glands. More blood samples were sent out and a stat ultrasound was performed. After consultation with an oncologist, Dolly was diagnosed with inflammatory carcinoma which had already spread. She was also in a lot of pain and we had to make the hardest decision an animal lover has to make
The vets who treated her said she stole everyone's heart as she did Steffanie Mayo's, MIke Edmondson's and Keith Musbach's who visited her, brought her treats and loved her.
We appreciate everyone who took the time to share her story, sent prayers and sent monetary donations and Amy Hackney for behind the scene support.
Dolly was safe and knew love in the final weeks of her life. We also appreciate the support shown for Dolly. We are sorry we couldn't save her sooner to give her a fighting chance.

UPDATE
Latest pix of Dolly, compliments of Steffanie Mayo who visited her today as did Mike Edmondson and Keith Musbach- her transporters.
I spoke w the vet at length this afternoon. Dolly has several medical issues. Vet does not believe she has/ had mastitis as most of her milk had dried up but she does have 2 major bacterial infections, one of which is MRSP and resistant to everything but a sulfa drug which Dobes do not tolerate well. She will be getting Denamarin to try to offset the affect it has on the liver.
As previously mentioned, she is heartworm positive but may need surgery on that mammary gland soon. Rads and more bloodwork taken today which will indicate if she can have that surgery. There is still edema in her left leg and that’s troublesome. We will have an update either late tomorrow or first thing Wednesday. Rads sent to radiologist for further evaluation.
If you can, please help by donating towards her medical expenses. They are going to be significant.
This girl is a total love and everyone, including both vets say she is the sweetest ever!

Please donate $$ to help Dolly !! Imagine be the sweetest mommy even with a painful mass . Having your babies taken from you then being driven to a dark isolated cane field and left to die ! My dear human, I see you crying, because it's time for me to leave.
Please don't cry.
I want to explain some things to you.
You're sad that I'm gone, but I'm glad to have met you.
How many dogs like me d-i-e every day without having met someone special like you?.
I know you are saddened by my departure, but I had to leave now.
I want to ask you not to blame yourself.
I heard you sobbing that you should have done something more for me. Don't say that, you've done a lot for me!
Without you, I would have known nothing of the beauty I carry with me today.
You must know that we animals live intensely in the present. Our lives begin when we know love, the same love you gave me, my wingless angel.
Please don't cry anymore. I leave happy.
I remember the name you gave me, the warmth of your house which at that time became mine. I hear the sound of his voice talking to me, even if I don't always understand what he is saying to me.
I carry in my heart every caress you gave me.
Wash your face and start smiling. There are many like me waiting for someone like you.
Please give them what you gave me, they need it like I needed you. ❤
