Our wonderful team says a heartfelt goodbye, to one of our cherished Front-desk staff members, Sara!

Having joined our team over 5-years ago, Sara has been an integral part of our team, and even though we knew this day would come…. for a long time now, we all knew and were happy for Sara as she built her new home up near Ocala-

We are all so happy for Sara, but sad to lose a long-time member of our team!

We all send our heartfelt thanks to Sara for so many years of effort, energy, for the support and assistance she has so lovingly & loyally given to all our patients and their family’s!

We thank Sara for being such a special part of something that we feel is so truly unique & valuable!!! Petlife has truly been blessed, to have had an amazing staff, for many years, who have been like a family, and ALL of whom have been with us so long!!!

All Of us at PetLife say farewell to Sara, as she goes forward to the next portion of her journey through life, with our thanks, our love, and our wishes for an amazing future!!!

Pyometra in Dogs & Cats

Spaying your female dog and cat have multiple advantages, not just because it helps to keep the population down and relieve the crowding in animal shelters.

It also prevents the development of pyometra, which is a uterine infection common in older, unspayed female dogs and cats. It’s a particularly serious condition in dogs, and if it doesn’t get timely treatment it can result in a secondary infection and ultimately the death of your dog.

If your pet is not spayed, and develops symptoms indicating she is unwell, poor appetite, lethargy, abdominal/pelvic pain, possible vaginal discharge, etc., she should be seen immediately by a Veterinarian.
