🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP 🚨

We currently have:

•15 kittens aged 5-16 weeks old, •10 kittens aged 3-4 weeks old
• 6 kittens aged 2-3 weeks old.

💞 Then we have the mommies and the older cats who are looking for their forever homes.

They are eating us out of house and home 🙈🙈

We would truly appreciate any cat packages containing wet and dry kitten food and kitty litter.

 Local donations can be dropped off directly at the Rescue. We are currently working on a Chewy wish list & hope to have it ready by the weekend 🥳

WELCOME TO OUR NEW FRIENDS

☎️ We received a phone call this morning asking if we had room to take in these six kittens that were dropped off at a fire station last night. 🚒

🚒 Even though we are bursting at the seams, we said YES!!! How could we say no to first responders asking for our help when they selflessly give their service to the community every day 🙏🏼

🐾 These babies appear to be around six weeks old. All have all been treated with flea medication, dewormed, antibiotics, and eye ointment. They will remain in quarantine for the next few days while they recover from their eye infections.

Did you know that we have a very successful Barn cat program.

📣 We have successfully placed over 40 cats in local barns, outbuildings, and shops in Palm Beach and Broward county.

❓What does a barn cat do?

🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛ Many cats in South Florida, through no fault of their own, often find themselves living in dangerous and unsuitable areas. When relocated correctly, these cats that are almost impossible to domesticate prove to be an excellent source of pest control.

🐈‍⬛🐈🐈‍⬛ Our Barn cat program helps cats that would most likely be euthanized have a second chance of living the life they enjoy  in a more suitable environment.

😥😥 Rescue life is not easy! It can be so rewarding and so heart wrenching at the same time.

We were called to rescue sweet Thelma from a rehabilitation facility in Lantana.

Thelma did not have the use of her back legs and even though she was able to get around, living outside was not the safest place for her to be.

We took Thelma to get some x-rays to see if we could get a prognosis on her condition and after consulting with four vets, the decision had to be made that she would be better off crossing over.

As the tears flowed, we snuggled her while she purred and nuzzled into our faces. We held her while she crossed over and are thankful that she knew what love was, and how it felt to be cuddled and kissed.

Thank you to Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary for allowing us to bring Thelma there to make her final journey 🐾🌈🐾

Rest easy sweet Thelma, we only knew you for 24 hours and making that decision sucked so freaking badly.

💙 ☔️Our sweet angel Rain is doing soooooo amazing! He has gained 5 ounces this week and is continuing to thrive! We are so happy with his progress and our eternally grateful for all the prayers and well wishes for him.

💞 Meet Apache 1💞

This sweet mama was trapped last week along with 3 others at a local house in Loxahatchee. She was taken for TNVR at the amazing Darbster Foundation where she died on the table. The amazing staff did CPR and brought her back to life and reversed her anesthesia. Apache 1 is allergic to ketamine!!

We spoke to the owner and they offered to give her their guest bedroom so she would have a safe place to recover and have her babies.

Fast forward 4 days…. Sweet Apache 1 gave birth to four healthy, beautiful tabby babies who look just like their mama.

We’ve already been in contact with Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary to have mama TNVR’d using a different anesthesia once her babies are weaned.

Once the babies are old enough, they will be available for adoption through our rescue.

Thank you so much to the amazing Maria for being such an awesome mom to Apache 1 and her babies.

The Ranch Rescue will be providing Maria with nutritious food, litter, toys for the babies and Vet care to Apache 1 and her babies.

☔️ Remember Sweet little Rain who was rescued from living under a tree root system with his siblings … he isn’t feeling so well!!

After some basic treatment at the rescue last night which included SubQ fluids, sleeping snuggled up with Laura on a heat pad and getting a bottle of kitty milk every 3 hours we decided to take him to visit the wonderful Dr Planco Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary .

Dr Planco gave Rain some antibiotics, probiotics and some cream for his skin.

🙏🏼 Please pray for Rain to make a full recovery, he only weighs 12oz, spent 6 days scavenging for food in the woods with his siblings after his mama was hit by a car before they were spotted by the incredibly caring Richards family Tammy Cretella Richards

Rain will follow up with Dr Planco on Friday to check his progress.

☎️ We received an urgent phone call last night around 10 PM asking for assiatance with a feral barn cat who had given birth in the rafters of the barn she calls home in Loxahatchee a few hours prior. The surface she gave birth on was a plastic lining that could give way at any moment which would send mama and her babies tumbling down onto the concrete floor below.

🏡 Without hesitation, we agreed to give Mama a safe place to raise her babies once her little family had been removed safely.

😥 Mama B gave birth to 4 tiny babies, unfortunately one didn’t make the car ride to the rescue 🖤🖤🖤💔

🙏🏼 Mama B and her 3 babies made it through the night 🙏🏼

Once her babies are weened, Mama B will be TNVR’d and will return to her barn family 💞

We will be assisting the barn workers to TNVR the remaining 33 Cats that call the barn home.

🐾 Welcome to The Ranch Rescue sweet little “Aussie”.

A few mins ago we arrived at Animal Care & Control to drop off some traps that we had borrowed. We walked into the lobby and heard a screeming baby kitten. A lady brought him in after finding him in some bushes outside and apartment complex on Australian Ave.

🍼 We stepped straight in and agreed to bring Aussie back to the rescue to be bottle fed around the clock by our wonderful team.

🚗 We stopped at PetSmart to get some kitten formula as we did not have any with us & we are currently on route to the place he was found to check the surrounding area for a Mama cat and any other babies.

💞WELCOME GISELLE & CICI💞

🐈‍⬛🐈 We received a request for rescue these sweet mommies from a very bad living situation in Hialeah Miami.

We have no idea if they are sisters or just best friends, but they are totally bonded and they apparently share their babies!!

They were found wrapped together with a bunch of babies underneath them . We have no idea which babies belong to which Mama, all we know is that they are safe.

Both mommy‘s tested SNAP negative and have been treated for the severe flea infestations.

Both mommies were starving hungry when they arrived yesterday and appeared fearful. We will allow them time to decompress, they their own space to relax and care for their babies.

☀️ Today the mommies have shown great improvement. We have been able to gain their trust and examine the babies. Both mommies enjoyed being petted and loved on.

All six babies appear to be in great health, despite their rough start and we believe them to be around 1.5 weeks old.

💞🎶 Ahh Sugar …. ahhh honey honey, you are my candy girl & you got me wanting you 🎶💞

💞🍭 MEET SUGAR 🍭💞

This sweet girl was trapped during a mass TNVR event last week. When we saw her we knew she couldn’t go back on the streets so we brought her back to the rescue.

💞 Sugar is extremely loving and friendly. She is so thankful to be given the chance to have a life as a house cat.

💓 Sugar is great with other cats. Dogs and she LOVES kids.

Sugar is 11 weeks old and fully vetted including being SNAP negative and she is ready for a family to call her own.
