Alba was intentionally hit by a car and left abandoned. Thankfully, a kind woman witnessed the incident and immediately contacted us for help. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to identify the driver.

Alba was rushed to the veterinary hospital, where it was discovered that she has a broken knee. Along with treating her injury, we’ve already started her on the necessary care, including a 3-month flea and tick prevention, then of course she need to be vaccinated and spay as soon as possible.

Alba has a long road to recovery ahead, and we are committed to giving her the care she needs. Any contribution to support her medical bills and recovery would mean the world to Alba and us.

Oh my goodness Madison is officially a Canadian citizen!!!

From being abandoned on the streets in San Francisco de Macoris, RD to enjoying a happy, fancy life, her transformation is nothing short of incredible.

None of this would have been possible without an amazing team and the generosity of our supporters. Thank God for each and every one of you.

Every “happily ever after” is the result of the hard work of a dedicated team—rescuers, veterinarians, fosters, travel companions, drivers—it truly takes a village to save and change lives.

Thank you to everyone who played a role in making Madison’s journey possible! Special thanks and big CONGRATS to Madison family 🥳❤️🐾🏡

Helping Those Who Help: Let’s Do It Together—Be Part of the Change!

Just a week ago, a kind and humble woman found herself desperate to save a dog who had been struggling to give birth for three days. The situation was critical, and thanks to the swift action of Dr. Ventura, an emergency C-section was performed.

We’re so grateful to share that both the mother and her puppies are now safe and thriving! The compassionate lady who rescued the dog is caring for all of them at home.

Let’s work together to create a better future for these helpless creatures.

Yesterday, our lovely Fela flew to Canada to her forever home. Fela had been with us since April, and everyone who met her fell in love with her. Today, she woke up in her forever home 🏡♥️🐾

Fela flew alongside Rain and Mariposa, two other precious babies who also made their way to their forever homes. A heartfelt thank you to Tauny and Christine for rescuing Rain and Mariposa, and to Lori and Myron for helping these sweet souls reach their new families.

Every “happily ever after” is made possible thanks to our generous supporters and by a dedicated team of incredible people working together to care for and nurture these babies. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone involved, and congratulations to the happy families! ♥️

Amarilla, a cautious and skeptical stray, has been a familiar face around the grocery store where a kind-hearted worker feeds her daily. He asked for help to spay her because she had been pregnant many times. For weeks, we noticed her wandering with a sad demeanor, refusing to let anyone get close. Despite our efforts to help her, she managed to evade capture.

This morning, at 6:00 am, a dedicated volunteer carefully sedated Amarilla. She was rushed to the vet, where we discovered she was suffering from a severe case of pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection. Thankfully, we acted just in time to save her life.

Amarilla has now been spayed, received a monthly flea and tick prevention, and will stay at the hospital for a few days to recover. Once she’s strong enough, she’ll also be vaccinated and dewormed.

Please consider supporting our daily spay and neuter program, which helps strays like Amarilla and pets belonging to low-income families. Your generosity saves lives and gives these animals a chance at a better future.

This morning, Fefa crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈🐾❤️.

Rescued on Tuesday morning, though sadly, we met her far too late in her life. Thanks to Francheska—a kind and humble lady who cared for Fefa on the streets in her final days, she reached out for help—Fefa passed away surrounded by love and care.

Fefa was stray, she wandered in a neighborhood where Francheska started to feed her. She was pregnant and on Tuesday morning she was found, collapsed and struggling to breathe. As soon as Francheska contacted us, she was rushed her to the veterinary hospital. Despite severe anemia and infection, the veterinary team had to performed an emergency C-section. Tragically, all her fetuses had already passed. Although Fefa initially showed signs of recovery, her tired and infected body couldn’t fight any longer, and she left us this morning.

Fefa’s story is one of many we handle, and though time doesn’t always allow us to share every case, we cannot turn away, no matter the organization’s resources.

We are heartbroken by Fefa’s passing but deeply grateful to the veterinary team who did everything in their power to save her. They hoped, as we did, that she could have had a beautiful future ahead under our care.

There remains a balance on her veterinary bill. If anyone feels moved to contribute in loving memory of Fefa, any amount would be deeply appreciated.

This little baby was hit by a car and left abandoned 💔
Thankfully, a kind young girl reached out to us today, asking for help.

Nati is only 10 weeks old, and she already has been struggling for days alone and dragging herself in agonizing pain. She is now at the local vet, where he’s receiving care to help control his pain and inflammation.

Based on the initial physical examination, it’s believed that Nati has fractures in both her femur and tibia. However, to confirm the extent of the injuries, Nati needs to be transported to Santo Domingo for X-rays and evaluation by a specialist. Surgery will likely be required to help him recover.

We need your help to give Nati the care she desperately needs. Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference and is greatly appreciated.

Please meet Dolce: A sweet Soul in Need of Your Help.

Dolce, a gentle 4-year-old American Bully, has endured a heartbreaking start in life. Used solely for breeding, she was discarded as “useless” once she could no longer have puppies.
She was brought to a vet hospital and without mercy she was left there to be euthanized because she wasn’t able to provide more profit to the one who exploited her since she was a puppy. Her future seemed tragically short. But her story didn’t end there. The vet saw the spark in Dolce—the wagging tail, the loving eyes, the plea for help—and reached out to us to save her. Now, we’re determined to give this beautiful soul the second chance she deserves. Dolce has been diagnosed with Ascites, a painful fluid buildup in her abdomen caused by liver inflammation, likely from severe malnourishment and years of neglect.
Despite everything she’s been through, Dolce greets everyone she meets with hope and love, as if asking for another chance at life.
We can’t let Dolce’s story end here. She’s fighting to live, and we’re fighting for her—but we can’t do it alone.
Your contribution is lifesaving. With your help, we can give Dolce the medical care, nutrition, and love she’s been denied for so long. Every donation brings her closer to a healthier, happier future.
Let’s help Dolce together. Because every life matters.

Chance ❤️ is a very gently soul.
He was hit by car and abandoned on the street. A good samaritan put him in an alley near by and gave him some food and water. Five days later someone let us know and we went to his rescue. We learned that he had fractures on both hips, one broken knee and an old injured in one femur. After several weeks under our care Chance is now walking normal. It took time, lots of love, care, patience and dedication but everything is worthy to save a life 🐾
Chance is now ready to be neuter, and he is waiting for his forever home 🏡
