It was a long night. We spent the early evening celebrating one of our kids and so the animals got dinner much much later than normal. While feeding we got flagged down by a car stopped in the middle of the road. A very sweet friend of the farm saw there was a coyote sighting two houses down and came to check on the animals. We went in the house to grab flash lights to check around and by the time we got back the attack had already started. One sheep down, another stunned/lightly wounded and goat was being chased. Not a coyote but a dog. We ran it off before anyone else got hurt. Mary got the worst of it. We bandaged her up and stayed with them most of the night. She saw the vet this morning and will make a full recovery. Had we not been warned and not ready it could have been so much worse. Thank you Jordan Elizabeth so very much!

If you left your stuffed pig this morning, we have it. I did not let the chickens take it even though they tried to convince me it was theirs. Any lost items we found after a farm visit are left in the chicken cooler for you to pick up at your convenience.

Mary got a bath, but instead of a fun before and after I got a pic of a sad Mary who had to have a halter on for the unwelcome bath. It took many long cuddles to earn her forgiveness.
