We sold out of pumpkins! The old blue Ford full of fall fun emptied out when we decorated our last porch yesterday. Only Skunk the cat was left, and he is a keeper….

We started picking pumpkins! Come by tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) from 1-4pm to pick your own pumpkins, grab some from the old blue Ford, and find some cornstalks. Love fall in the Tri!!!

The sun is starting to set on parts of the pumpkin patch as some vines have given all they have to give and are done for the season. Time to start picking!
If all goes well, we should have some pumpkins Sunday afternoon if you can’t wait until October - like us….

It’s just about Pumpkin Patch time! Pumpkins are turning colors, corn ears are getting bigger and there are a few sunflowers still blooming.
We will post an update this week with when we will have our first soft opening for fall sales.

So much fun stuff is ripe now! These Dolgo Crab apples are the size of a large cherry tomato, but pack a tart punch great for jelly. We typically ship frozen crab apple juice to cider and preserve makers, but this jelly is staying in the Tri!

That’s where we were at on 9/11. Jen woke me up and said to turn on the radio - since we didn’t pay for cable TV in our married housing apartment in Pullman.
My first class on 9/11/01 happened to be a history class taught by a retired USAF Colonel. It was canceled since The Colonel was trying to get to DC after the attacks.

You're invited to the City of Pullman's 9/11 Memorial Ceremony tomorrow (Wednesday, September 11, 2024).

The City of Pullman Police and Fire Departments will lead a community procession starting at 10:00 a.m. at Pullman City Hall.

The procession will circle around Pullman--as indicated by the red line on the map--then return to City Hall for a short Flag Ceremony, which will start at approximately 10:50 a.m. near the flagpole.

Found him! John, aka Hobo John, caught a ride on our car - somehow…and decided to bail at the intersection of Keene and West Lattin. He bolted across Keene and hid all day in some backyards off the walking path. Huge thanks to all the neighbors off Keene for letting us ring our kitty bell in their back yards! He didn’t come this morning, but finally made a little noise so we could find him in the bushes tonight. We hope his vagabond days are done….
