Valerie & Tracy started Little Fur Friends in 2008, originally raising small poodle mixes and eventually evolving into the doodles we know and love today. As the saying goes, the rest is history. We’ve both had dogs our whole lives and couldn’t imagine life without them. They are family members and the most loyal “little fur friends” you can find. We live in Wharton on 6 acres that we affectionall
y call our little farm. We have a variety of poultry and miniature livestock animals, a dog grooming business here at home, and our beloved dogs and puppies that keep us busy! We’re so excited to share them with you, and hope to help you find your own little fur friend!
Kylee is settling into her life with her guardian momma! Beverley was in an accident many years ago and as a result she can not walk and uses a wheelchair. It’s been an adjustment for Kylee to get used to but I think these two will be perfect for each other! Kylee is such a sweet and gentle dog. Beverly said she’s now happily following her around everywhere and laying at her feet. 💕

This adorable baby boy is looking for a guardian home! He is a mini goldendoodle male that will be a future stud for us pending health testing. He will have a beautiful wavy, non-shedding coat and is expected to be 20-30 lbs full grown. This boy is pretty special to us, his bloodlines go back to some of our original studs Banjo and Red, and our sweet girl Gypsy!
A guardian home gets a top quality dog at no cost. We retain breeding rights until he is 5 years old, at which time he will be “retired” from our breeding program and neutered at our expense.

Coffee is looking for a guardian home! She is a full sister to our girl Story (3rd picture) and will look just like her when she grows up. Coffee is 4 months old and is crate trained, doggie door trained, and doing very well on her house training! She is calm and sweet, and very loving. Gets along great with other dogs and cats. She is a mini goldendoodle that is expected to be around 25-30 lbs full grown, with a silky soft, wavy, non-shedding coat.

This handsome little dude is a future stud muffin for us! He is a mini goldendoodle and will be around 20 lbs full grown. His coat is so silky soft and will be beautiful and wavy when he grows up. We’ve decided to call him Dodger! He’s got such a sweet and loving disposition and we can’t wait to watch him grow up, and have puppies for us someday with our solid color girls. With him they will produce the pretty white markings we are aiming for, like Story that I shared yesterday. 🥰

Welcome Salsa to our program! This beautiful girl is a mini goldendoodle with a curly coat. She is a full sister to our girl Sicily, but from an earlier litter. When the opportunity came up we couldn’t pass it up. Salsa is 17 months old and has a great temperament and cute personality! She will produce beautiful red goldendoodles with white markings.

This is a courtesy post for one of our puppy families! Due to no fault of his own, Blaze is needing a new home. He is a 5 year old standard size labradoodle from Raven’s first litter. What a week it’s been, and still not over! Hurricane Beryl came directly over us here in Wharton early Monday morning. We are still without power, but have been very blessed with the out-powering of help, concern and support from our friends and family! ♥️
I know many are still in the same boat, without power and with so much clean up and repairs that need to be done. Hoping that we will all be getting back to normal soon!
