Gucci came to FARM in need of a forever home. He is an 8 month old, 14 pound, neutered male Shih Tzu mix. Gucci is all puppy - playful and affectionate. He does well with other small young dogs and older children. Gucci would love a new home with an affectionate owner who has time to give him the affectionate he craves and the basic training he needs. Gucci needs to learn how to walk on a leash and needs housebreaking skills. A secure fenced yard would be a plus. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment. Chippy came to FARM in need of a forever home. He is a one year old, 20 pound, recently neutered male Min Pin mix. Chippy is affectionate and likes to play with other small non dominant dogs. (Chippy does not do well with dominant dogs or larger dogs.) At the present time we do not think he's appropriate for children. Chippy will need work on his housebreaking skills. UPDATE: ADOPTED

This beautiful girl is a 9 month old, 13 pound Mini Poodle named Capri who needs a forever home. She is ALL PUPPY - very active and very friendly. Capri loves everyone - people and other active dogs who will play with her. She has never lived in a home, so she will need basic training and housebreaking. Capri is looking for an owner who will give her lots of exercise, affection, attention, and training. A secure fenced yard would be a plus. 💥💥💥 UPDATE 💥💥💥 this sweet girl has found her furever home!!

Meet Janie!

She is a 3-4 year old mini Goldendoodle. She came to us as a retired breeder. She is working on her figure as she needs to shed a few lbs! ⚖️

Regardless, she is a medium size doodle (at an appropriate weight should be around 40lbs)

Janie is great with other dogs and is also very friendly and loving! 🥰

She is up to date on vaccines, scheduled for her spay, and is microchipped!

Moonstone came to FARM in need of a forever home. She is a 6 year old, 7 pound female Chihuahua. Moonstone loves being around her human and prefers women, but will warm up quickly to anyone worthy of her attention. She does tend to have the protective Chihuahua nature so no young kids (teenagers or older). She does well with other small dogs with proper introduction and supervision. Po (Pinto) and Tato (Potato) came to FARM in need of a forever home. They are a bonded pair of 4 year old, 10 pound neutered male Chihuahuas. These sweet boys are typical Chihuahuas: Nervous with people they don't know. Don't want to be picked up until they are comfortable with you. Prefer women over most men. Not appropriate for children. Cuddle bugs and playful once they relax. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment. Scrappy came to FARM in need of a forever home. He is a 2 year old, 14 pound neutered male Chihuahua mix. Scrappy does well with other dogs his size, or smaller, but should not go to a home with small children. He has typical Chihuahua behavior in that he needs some time to warm up to you, but once he does, he is an affectionate dog who enjoys playing, affection and attention. Reba came to FARM in need of a forever home. She is a 10 pound, 6 year old spayed female Bichon retired breeding dog. Reba needs an experienced and patient adopter who is willing to work on her fears and her housebreaking. She does well with other dogs and does well in a crate. Reba does not know how to walk on a leash, so a secure fenced yard is a requirement and another well socialized small dog would be a huge plus. Reba desperately needs socialization in a quiet home with an experienced adopter. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment. A new study revealed less than 40% of dogs enrolled in our Golden Retriever Lifetime Study are on preventive heartworm medication. Could this be a marker of a larger trend?

Heartworm disease is a serious and potentially fatal condition that is preventable in dogs. Researchers of the paper highlighted the increased importance of preventative medications for heartworm disease as climate change is extending mosquito season in some states and mosquito bites transmit the disease.
