I'm sure many of you heard about the fires in Whiting two days ago.
One of the homes belonged to one of our customers, the Novak Family.
They were able to get out safely with their three dogs.
They will be displaced for awhile.
The photo of them fleeing the fire with their dogs is heartbreaking.

We will be closed Wednesday the 3rd, Thursday the 4th, and Friday the 5th.
We will reopen on Saturday the 6th.
Every year, our dog customers are stressed from the fireworks. We've noticed when they get to their grooming appointments they have higher anxiety, and some are even physically sick.
So this year, we decided to close the day before and the day after the holiday.
This is a stressful week for them. Please keep them safe.

Just an update.
For those asking about my dogs' surgery. It went well, however, he wouldn't stop chewing the incision, so now he has to wear dinosaur pajamas while it heals.
Also, due to increasing operating costs, it has become necessary to implement a price increase effective June 1st.
We appreciate your understanding, and we thank you for choosing us as your groomer!

I've had 2 knee scopes, and one nerve block.
None have been successful.
So tomorrow (2/13) I will have total knee replacement surgery.
The shop will be running on part time hours.
Wed-Thurs-Fri, 9am to 1pm
Sat, 8am to noon
CLOSED Sun-Mon-Tues
If you already have an appointment, your appointment is confirmed, and as usual, we will send a reminder text the day before.
If you need to make an appointment, please understand that we have limited appointments for the next few weeks.

RESCUE FOUND!!! Thank you all who showed interested in him.

FOUND!!! His owner moved and left him behind. He's been sleeping on the porch. The new owner agreed to keep him in the house until I can find somewhere for him. We have no room and need your help! PLEASE someone step up to foster or adopt. Rescues please contact me if you have any interest in him. He's a Cane Corso Mastiff. Please share.
