Glendale Derby Ad. for Saturday, April 27, 2024. Per AKC rules, a 2024 SPO derby was born on or after July 1, 2022 and before June 30, 2023. There is talk of changing this rule in the future to the large pack derby definition of a derby. If that were changed, then a derby would be a derby until it reaches its second birthday. However, for now this is how it reads in the AKC rulebook (See attached photo below ad). We hope to see lots of people and young hounds. Winning hounds will receive engraved knives.
