Therapy dog training classes require a Canine Good Citizen title and are held when there are qualified dog and handler teams to make a class.

New Obedience classes begin Sept. 9th. There will be Beginning Obedience, Intermediate Obedience, Puppy Kindergarten, and Rally classes offered. If interested in attending a class please call 940 851-0694 for more information. The cost is $100 for 8 weeks of training.

Anyone interested in taking the CGC test please contact me at 940 851-0694 or [email protected]. This is the Canine Good Citizen test and tests your Obedience skills. There is an AKC Certificate awarded to those who pass the test. As soon as we receive enough interest we will schedule the test and you will be norified.

Obedience classes begin June 17th. We offer Beginning Obedience, Puppy Obedience (4 to 9 months old) Star Puppy for more advanced puppies, Intermediate Obedience, and Rally. Classes are 8 weeks long and cost $100. To get registered call 940 851-0694.

We offer Star Puppy, Puppy Kindergarten, Beginning Obedience, Intermediate Obedience, Rally, and if there is enough interest we will offer Canine Good Citizenship to prepare for Therapy classes. New Obedience classes will begin January 8th and 10th. We have openings for Beginning Obedience, Puppy Obedience and if your puppy has had some training the Star Puppy class has openings. It is recommended that your dog get the Bordatella vaccine to help prevent the new dog respiratory disease that has been going around in some states. The fee is $100 for 8 weeks of training. All dogs finishing the the class will receive a certificate of completion. There is also an Intermediate class for dogs that have had the Beginning class. Also there will be Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Rally classes offered. Call 940 851-0694 for sign up sheets. Or you can text that number and ask for a sign up sheet. One of our members visited the Wichita County Humane Society this afternoon to see what they need for the Animals seized from the pet store in Burkburnett.

Below are things they need:
rat food, mouse food, rabbit food, bird food
dog food, puppy food, cat food, kitten food
pine shavings
cat litter
bleach, soap, spray cleanser

Operating Hours
Monday – Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

To all of our Friends and Exhibitors: We apologize for the inconvenience caused by a blurb in the Premium List for our Febrary 17, 18, and 19, 2023 Trials. This is at the top of the 2nd page and says "50th Anniversary Celebrated with a Region 7 Regional". We asked Onofrio Dog Shows to give us a little advertising for next year's trials since 2024 will be our 50th Anniversary with AKC, and we will be hosting a Regional Event.

This little blurb has caused a lot of confusion since no dates were mentioned. We are very sorry for the confusion. This year will be 4 obedience and 3 rally trials over the 3 days. Next year will be the Regional. We will host 3 days of Obedience run under Regional protocol, and three days of Rally.

Again, sorry for the confusion, and hope to see you and your best fur friend in 2023 and 2024.

We are challenged by economic realities that make it difficult to find the time and money to pursue our passion. We are challenged by the difficulties we encounter in our efforts to breed beautiful, healthy dogs of excellent temperament.

Yet, we soldier on, gathering strength along the way.
As a judge, one of my greatest pleasures is to welcome newcomers when they enter the ring. We all start somewhere. How easy it is to be kind. We can’t all win, but we can have a good experience which makes us enter again and again until we do."🐾

Lesson learned -- do not take pictures of puppies in Puppy Kindergarten with a slow tablet -- next week I will use my phone, but thought someone might enjoy seeing the current class. These dogs are all smart as whips, and have learned, come, sit, down, stand and heel. They have also been exposed to the 20' tunnel and the closed tunnel (Chute). I do apologize for the blurred vision on some of them -- I didn't even upload Juneau's picture -- he was wagging so hard, you can't even tell what you are looking at.
