Meet “Patunia”. She was taken in as a surrender. She had a sister that also was surrendered. She passes due to bad health and no vet checks. Her sister had a large cyst that ruptured next to her ear and a upper respiratory infection. With the delayed response she passed. I did not want Patunia to go into piggy depression so I brought her into the Smith herd. She is said to be 1 and a 1/2. But that is hard to believe due to her size. She will be loved here. She will be respected here. She will be happy here.

Piggies need to stay in temps between 70-85 degrees. So I’m sad that grass outings are over.😩 The cost of romaine and bell peppers have gone up too. So if anyone wants to donate some, I’ll be very happy. Peppers and romaine are two veggies that they can have any given day. Seriously! It can be something that you are noticing getting close to going bad at your house. They take like 5 minutes tops to take down 6 heads and 6 bell pepper.They are worth it though💜

Avery or Harvey? He had been left alone for several months in a aquarium sized habitat. Never had a chance to popcorn or do zoomies. He now can stretch those piggy legs and find himself 💜. He’s very restless, never been handled. He’s coming along though. Next week he’ll be hopefully bonded with success with one of the boy herds. If you know of anyone that would commit to loving him forever let me know. I don’t mind keeping him either.

Update: Polly doesn’t have a large enough cyst to treat. So it’s a wait and see issue. So I’m super happy about that. Older piggies don’t do as well with surgery.
