As of January 2023, we have moved into our new hospital at 5872 US-31N (located on the east side of US-31 south of M-72 and right next door to McDonald's in Acme). We understand that your pet is a member of your family, and we want you and your pets to be a member of ours! Owners are welcome to be present throughout the exam and appointments are scheduled to allow adequate time for questions and recommendations. In addition to our outpatient appointments, we offer routine surgeries and comprehensive dental exams and cleanings. Take some time to appreciate the black cat in your life.

Black cats are less likely to be adopted because of the superstitions associated with them.

However, black cats are just as loveable and friendly as any other cat. So be sure to give one some pets, but not too much and in just the right spot!!

What is DOGust?
It’s National Dog Month and includes the Universal Birthday for Shelter Dogs on August 1st. This special day was made to honor the pups in our lives who were adopted or rescued.

A holiday that celebrates the date of the Mexican army’s May 5, 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War.

In the United States, Cinco de Mayo is widely interpreted as a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage, particularly in areas with substantial Mexican-American populations.

Today, revelers mark the occasion with parades, parties, mariachi music, Mexican folk dancing and traditional foods such as tacos and mole poblano. Some of the largest festivals are held in Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston.
