The fabulous homes that love and adore them, Thank You!!!!

The show wins and ribbons are lovely, but knowing that win or lose, they are all in great homes that will love them to their very last day, has made all my hopes and dreams for them, come true.

~ I always celebrate when one of the dogs has a birthday with cupcakes and goodies!

However, before we can celebrate with Bella. She needs to get her big birthday gift. A spa day, so she is party and photo ready !

She is the original ‘dirt dog’ who can’t stay clean more than 48 hours!!! ~

~ Last night I had the absolute honor, and pleasure, of being on the end of Harleighs lead as she shared and received, lots of love from so many students and faculty at the Rowan
student “Pj’s, Puppies and Pancakes” event.

Harleigh has been providing her gentle love to students, beginning at Stockton University 5 or more years ago, segueing over to Rowan University about 4 years ago.

Harleigh has done so much more in her life than I had anticipated, she brought me out of the darkest place I had ever experienced in my life, she excelled in the show ring, something I asked her to do, for me. Retiring at 11 years of age, from confirmation with a lovely win at the 2022 National Specialty, and was a fantastic Mom to two beautiful litters. But her therapy work with the students, EMT’s, Covid vaccination patients, and faculty at Rowan has been the most rewarding thing we have ever done together. It brought me so much joy to see her happy doing what SHE loved.

Harleigh is 12 years and 9 months old. She still demands a daily walk,although they have gotten shorter than they used to be. She loved visiting the students last night, as much as ever! But it is time.. as much as it breaks my heart, to retire this precious girl from her official therapy duties.

Last night was her curtain call.. and what a night it was!!!

~ The apple didn’t fall far, as her Uncle Marco, GCH Brynjulf Wahoo Creek Don’t You Feel It, won the Great Pyrenees Club of America National Specialty in 2017 at the tender age of two years old!! ~
