Potty training is best done with rigid scheduling and immeasurable supervision. Any free time inside should be purposeful and again, always supervised with eyes on the pup.
We are three weeks into the process with Chewy and she is finally getting a routine and schedule down and is slowly earning some free play off tether and out of her carrying bag inside.

āHelp! my puppy wonāt stop chasing my other dogs, chewing, jumping on my kids, snatching food off the table, getting on furniture, having potty accidentsā¦ā the list goes on and onā¦. I have had no less than 8 calls in 3 days describing all of the above and more and my advice has remained the same.
ACTIVE. PRESENT. SUPERVISION.
Set your puppy up for success and stop giving them SO MUCH freedom. If you canāt actively and presently supervise ( aka youāre engaging with them) they should be in their crate. If itās appropriate for them to be out and with the family, they need to be on a leash unless theyāre solid on potty training and trustworthiness.
