3 weeks ago, Lucy came to us extremely under-socialized and timid of the world 🌎 her new parents realized that this wasn’t the life they wanted for her. They wanted her to enjoy life and all it had to offer. She began our program cowering at touch, noises, and stimuli in the environment- sinking into the ground. She was so under confident in herself that she wouldn’t even hold herself up to use the bathroom. It was heartbreaking to see her like this, but we knew there was so much potential just waiting to be unlocked 🔓🌟
In just three weeks, she has made leaps and bounds. She investigates the world with a newfound confidence, finds joy and reward in training, and has learned to trust that we will always put her in the best situations 🙌
She’s learned an off-leash recall, how to walk nicely on leash, how to socialize with other dogs and people, how to settle on place, and so much more.
There is absolutely more work to be done when she returns home, but we know that her family will provide her an amazing support system and the guidance that she thrives off of.
Dogs like Lucy are one reason for why we do what we do. We are committed to the growth of each dog that steps through our doors, giving them the opportunity to live their best lives with the people who love them! ❤️🐾

Such a unique place and also extremely dog friendly 🐕 We stopped at a little microbrewery and our experience was wonderful and they were so accommodating to the pups! Apollo was even gifted some swag and was the best boy 😁

This national park is a great choice because it is very dog friendly! All trails above the caves are accessible to the pups 🐾 we highly enjoyed the warm weather, sunshine, and greenery 🍃☀️

We have absolutely loved exploring with these guys! They have been great with all the new places we’ve taken them to. This trip has been great for so many reasons, but the most important being socialization. New people and many new environments! Travel is easy when you have good dogs with you 🧡⛰️🐺

Our board and trains did some sight seeing with us yesterday and enjoyed the sunny weather!
Our April 🌸 Adventure B&Ts! 🏕️
🥾 Ghost is a 3 year old Golden Retriever! He is incredibly sweet, motivated, and loves exploring. Our focus during his program will be a solid + proofed off-leash recall!
🥾 Archer is a 1 year old Shiloh Shepherd. He attended our foundation program as a puppy and is back to advance his basics and to also achieve an off-leash recall. He is lovable, goofy, and has a wonderful personality!
🥾 Apollo is a 7 month old working line GSD. He is here because he has a little “stranger danger”. Our focal point during his time with us will be confidence building, socialization, and working on his basic obedience. Once he gets to know you, he’s a complete smush!
We are excited that these three boys are tagging along to travel with us for the month. Follow their adventures! 😍

Trainer Tip: Satisfying your dog’s outlets will make for a physically and mentally more satisfied dog. It’s also a great way to have fun together + grow your relationship! Meeting your dog’s physical and mental outlets are equally important 🧠💪 If you find that you’re playing ball for hours or taking excessively long walks just to tire your dog- try adding in a training session! They don’t have to be long and they can be just as fun and rewarding 🤗 use their favorite toy or their favorite snack and ask for simple positions such as sit, down, or walking on your left side! This is also a great way to tire your dog on rainy or down days too without even leaving your home 🏡 B&T Finn is having a ball session this AM to satisfy his physical outlet as we’re having a training session later 🤩
