Back scratching kind of day! 😁
DEGA’s colt has been getting weekly trims to keep up with his BIG growing spurts. We decided to halter break him, in between Thunder Storms. ⛈️
We brought DEGA and her Little Mr. home from the mare band for a few weeks. 🥰
Her stud colt is so unbelievably large, he’s needing some special hoof care and the possibility of “Epoxy Shoes” to help keep those front feet straight while he nurses or grazes for grass. (Per our Veterinarian’s planning & consult.)
Either way, we are extactic to love/spoil on him & get to know him!! We just can’t say enough about these JAG babies. 💞
When we can trim feet on an untouched colt, in less than 10 minutes…. We must be doing something right. ☺️

FRITZ had a big, long legged filly yesterday morning! 🩷
She was trying really hard to figure out how to fold those legs in, to take a nap. It took her a while, but she figured it out and it wasn’t the most graceful landing. 😊
We will not be keeping any fillies this year, so she will be available!

We have yet to catch her in the act, but one of our mares has officially opened the gate 3 times in the last week.
Or does she have a side kick? 😬
The gate will be getting “mare” proofed tomorrow. 😉
COWAN is currently black as coal right now. A few more weeks and that gorgeous blue will come back! 🩵
She’s been in the mare band since November. We can’t WAIT for a 2025 JAG baby!
It’s been a Winter WONDERLAND ❄️
Our HIRED GUN daughter, WIMPY looks pretty as can be in all that sparkling snow!
She is confirmed IN FOAL to JAG for 2024.
JAG (OSR Cats Trojan Man) has been getting used almost every day, for the last couple weeks. 🖤
We turned him out for a little break, & he was sure happy to see his mares were across the road from him!
AND just like that, all our 2023 babies are gone & into their new homes! ❤️
Now to bring in the young mares for their refreshers!!

COWAN is about to be brought home from Summer pasture, for training and then she will join the mare band. 💙
We are very excited to cross her with JAG. And we can’t WAIT for big, soggy ranch colts that can move!
