What a wonderful, hottt horse show WEekend we had in NJ, full of fun, fashion and FANS!! 🙌 Deapite dizzying temps we all made it through and had an amazing time, with the greatest group of people ❤️ It was a very productive show, and I could not have been more thrilled with how well we all stood up to remembering 4 courses in 24 hrs in mind blowing heat 🤤
Pistol Pete had his second and third go at L2, making some improvements each day. We had some happy little bucks day one, but they never took us off our line of travel and they smoothed out by start of day two. I truly love the heart and character of this pony, he is one of a kind, and I sure am lucky to spend my days working with him!
Cera made it for her first outting since an ankle surgery, and brought her A game outfits, for sure!! I am impressed with how well she put everything back together after a pretty invasive surgery and buckled down to get through the weekend so well! She and Joe are quite the match in terms of heart and try 🫶
Lynsey and her handsome man Rui came out to show off all the progress they are making so far this season and I could not have been prouder of how well they did at this show!! Its been a long time coming for both of them, growing and learning together isnt always easy, but they have ridden out the storms to enjoy some beautiful serenity and harmony on the other side of it all🙌❤️

Yesterday was a big day for us, we did a thing at the Northern Virginia Working Equitation show........ Zamigo and I stepped out for our first go at L6, after a year long break from showing to sort some things out and prepare for this next big step 🥳 It was shakey, had some nervey glitches, but we showed up and gave it a shot!! First ones the hardest, right? 🫣

My nerves caused us a course error in Dressage by missing a sequence in the canter work, and I missed a few geometry marks in the dressage test, but we DID it! Ease of Hand had its share of nerve bobbles, and an unnoticed overstep of both hind legs on the last few steps of the sidepass L earned us a DQ with just 2 obstacles left to go. 😣 But again, we DID it!!
I remember feeling this same way from my first L1 test to my first L5, but it gets better. If you arent scared a little, do you really care?? Never let fear keep you from working toward your goals and TRYING to get there, its just one little stage in the process and we cannot linger there. It always gets better after the first step!

I am incredibly proud of how much work we've done to get this point, and it will surely get better from here. Only one way to get something done is by getting out there and DOING IT!! He is getting stronger and now we must master the control with only one hand. We showed up with a smile, tried our best, had a BLAST, and thats what matters most in the end 🙌

After several dress rehearsals and pinning over combinations of attire, we did NAIL one thing, the best turnout and attire award!! 🤣 Huge thanks to the NoVaWe folks for a smooth, fun show and all the fellow competitors that made it out. 👏🫶
❤️I truly love this horse to the moon and back. Cannot wait to get back to it after a few well earned days off 😎

Last week at the Oak Spring Equestrian, LLC working eq schooling show I had the absolute honor of taking these two beautiful boys down centerline at L1!! The first dunny boy has some WE miles, but his mom Donna entrusted me to take him for his first spin this season while she recovers from a surgery. The second stunning boy had his first official WE outing ever, and truly could not have made us more proud. He trailered and hung out om his own, took everything in and was absolutely chill 😎
Very much looking forward to what else is to come for them both ♥️ Big thanks to Barb Williams Sullivan for a great event and pics!!

Pickles is officially an L2 horse!! 🙌🥳♥️🦄
We made our level up debut at the EPAWE - Eastern Pennsylvania Working Equitation spring show with Polly this weekend and Peterpotamus could not have made me prouder. It was such a well run event with the most amazing people, really a top notch event every time! We decided to shoot for the schooling show/licensed show combo to get all the kinks worked out and have a shot at potentially qualifying for EZC at L2.
Admittedly, this was the most showing little dude has ever done in one weekend, but he really stepped up his game for it! The look of suprise on his little face when we actually cantered in Dressage *on purpose* was absolutely priceless. He's been telling me for a while now he wants to canter around at shows, but I wanted to be sure we had everything together for sure before going for it.
He had an absolute blast and I could hardley hold back the 🤣 in the middle and 🥹 of joy at the end of each round- as he discovered something new and incredible in each round we did this weekend. It was a literal evolution in process. All the way to going back in the ring for a THIRD ROUND!?!? Things just got better and better with every single ride.
We ended up taking second over all im the schooling show Saturday and putting enough together the next day to take champion of the licensed show Sunday and getting our first L2 qualifying score!! 🥳🎊🌟
It may have been a soggy weekend, but was nothing short of amazing ♥️
Even after pickles tried to stay home by taking his shoe off at 8pm the night before we were set to leave at 7m the next day 🫣
Now to find speedy Petey his very own speed round music- he's earned it!! ♥️

🌟 Frst recognized WEE show of our season this past weekend at Frying Pan Farm Park was a GREAT success!! 🌟
Peterpotamus had a fabulous last go at L1, earning some of his best scores yet from our senior judge, confirming we are ready to take on L2 😎 He did pretty well at L1 last season, but I wanted to be sure he got a comfortable, familiar start to this season before we made the jump. It's a bit of a leap going from trot to canter between obstacles, and this weekend he trotted everything with poise and confidence! Even when the Garrocha hit the edge of the ring and it bounced off the side of his neck-he didnt miss a beat!!
We took home highest dressage score of the day, second highest EOH of the show, and won his division with a solid 69%.
Love this little dude, he sure is growing up ❤️

Cera and Joe picked up where they left off with L3 end of last season, having one more go at that level before shes has a 4-6 month break from riding for a major ankle surgery. They brought home a blue in dressage, red in EOH for the added spice, and a solid blue in speed w the fastest, cleanest speed round of the show!!These two started L3 last season and are working quickly towards L4, but this little hiatus means they both get to slow down a bit over summer and will see where things pick back up once she's fully recovered. They will both get to do some other fun things in the meantime 😎

Great horses, great weather and great people made this show just as amazing as it could be.
BIG thanks to the show organizers and volunteers it takes to make our shows so GREAT!!! 🫶

❤️ What a great Easter WEekend!! ❤️
Started with a wonderful clinic in Richmond with some amazing folks very eager to take in all that Working Eq has to offer them. Then the first Perfect A Trial clinic at Oak Spring Equestrian, LLC with some of the most heartwarming, committed WE folks.
It will never get old seeing that sparkle in people's eyes and smiles on their ponies faces when they learn new things or realize the rewards of something they've worked hard for become a reality!!
