Dashiell loves his daily workouts - look at that tail wag!

This exercise works core muscles, with an emphasis on hindlimbs.

It is easier on the handler when the dog offers paw lifts, instead of having to lift the paws manually to achieve weight shifts.

Pay attention to the top line - it should be neutral, like Dashiell’s - with no strain on the spine.

This is what I call the “nose to toes” stretch - it is so important, as Dr. Deb notes.

So important to stretch the large cervical or neck muscles for active dogs. Holding a treat down between the front legs assists in loosening up those large cervical muscles. Great to do before and after activities! # proactive
