💔💔💔PLEASE SHARE BELUGA!!!💔💔💔
This poor girl is at Front Street Animal Shelter - City of Sacramento and is at risk of euthanasia simply because she is “very timid and is not showing well to adopters in the shelter”.
Of course they aren’t networking her, so we feel like we at least have to try.
She is very affectionate according to her notes and does well with a dog she was kenneled with.
Here is a video of sweet Beluga:

Beluga is a sweet lady that has become very timid and is not showing well to adopters in the shelter.
ORIGINAL INTAKE DATE: 02/06/24
ANIMAL HISTORY: owner surrendered.
MEDICAL: She is vaccinated but not yet spayed or chipped.
BEHAVIORAL: 02/07/24 09:17-jc- VERY affectionate and likes to lick your hands and will try and get your face. Enjoys pets all over.
02/10/24 18:01 Seems to comfort the male dog she is with. When I entered the kennel, she greeted me and licked my hands and wanted to be petted all over. BB
02/16/24 13:47 - took out for meet and greet with a mother and adult son. She was very comfortable and excited in kennel easy to leash up. The closer we got to the yard the more stiff and nervous she became. While in the yard with the family she became even more stiff and hunkered down. The mom was able to pet her, then the son came over quickly to pet her and she yelped, whipped away, and peed. After this she was staring out of the play yard trying to avoid the family. The mother came over and pet her again, the dog slowly looked towards her with huge wale eyes and stiff posture. Decided to put her back in kennel. After she was back in kennel she was comfortable and began licking my hands and being sweet. MN
02/21/24 13:32 - took out for D2D with 6 year old male shepherd, was stiff when he approached and continued to be stiff through the whole D2D. He was shy and did not look comfortable with her. She stared at him then low growled and tried to snap at his face. We separated them, calmed both dogs down, then tried again. He was nervous and she was stiff, she watched him for a couple of seconds and then snapped at his face getting saliva in his cheek. Decided to put her into M building because of her size and interaction with a timid dog.
If you are able to foster or adopt, please reach out to the shelter ASAP.
