A must read article for breeders and people against breeding....

“Some people say that all breeders must quit breeding....and all strays should be spayed and neutered....???? Well would that be a solution? In 2 more decades no more dogs in this world?

I would like to explain something here to all these "Adopt don't shop" people out there:

Some 1st responders need a k9 to help them do their jobs and keep the streets safe!

Some people miss their sight and need their dog to be their eyes to have the opportunity to get out of their comfortzone and to be able to go out into this world!

Some veterans and a majority of other people, need the help of a k9 to deal with PTSD in their daily life's struggles!

Some people have seizures and need a medical assistance dog to warn them when another episode is near. This way they can prepare and take their meds in time!

Some dogbreeds have been proven to be better in certains tasks than other dogbreeds. The point is, dogbreeds have been developed in hundreds and hundreds of years for specific needs for us humans. And their genetics play a huge part in that. Make no mistake there 🤓

-Adopting does not make you a better person than the other

-Adopting means you do not need,care for,or expect specific breed characteristics in your new familymember.

A good breeder does not contribute to shelters!

A good breeder has a relationship with their clients on personal level, and a signed and written contract on business level to avoid their produced dogs to ever end up in a shelter!

A good breeder takes their pups back or help find them a new loving family if the situation arises and no other way is possible to be sure that the dog is well taken care of!

A good breeder is NOT responsible for dogs in a shelter

A good breeder is NOT responsible for deathstations worldwide (which really should be banned, and one should take their anger and put it in that particular direction instead of breeders)

That shelters are full of mixed dog breeds is not because of a GOOD BREEDER that health tests their dogs and looks for certain characteristics and traits to better the breed!

The problem are the BYB breeders that are in it for a quick buck without health testing, keeping their dogs day and night hidden in a barn or kennel....

The problem is those people who think it is a good idea to let their female be bred by the dog of their neighbor,or auntie and uncle:"So she has the experience of being a momma once in her life"

The problem are the people that actually BUY A CHEAP DOG from those BYB breeders or "once in a lifetime just one litter" breeder!!!!!!

These people who bring these BYB breeder pups home with them CHOSE THIS BYB BREEDER BECAUSE IT WAS A CHEAP DEAL!
Or it was a pup bred by their familymember and they couldn't say no to that sweet face so took it home.....

These people are not up for the specific characteristics which live in these puppy's genes! They are not ready for the medical expenses because the parents weren't health tested properly......They are not ready without doing their homework and read about the breed characteristics of both parents.

These kind of pups are often bought without a salescontract!
These kind of pups are without any safetynet whatsoever in case the pup turns out to be a non fit for their family.

-Turn your rage on people that buy without doing their homework on how to take care of a dog and be aware how much the veterinarian costs these days

-Turn your rage on BYB breeders with low prices because let me make 1 thing clear:

A GOOD BREEDER can not compete in puppyprices with a BYB breeder after all healthtestings of parents and pups,proper vaccinations,dewormings,anti parasite treatments,dogfood and snacks,groomer appointments,absence of leave from work,clinical exams done by a licensed veterinarian few days before pups leave, etcetera.

Please stop bashing on the GOOD BREEDERS out there, they are not the problem....And they are slowly quitting one after another because they can not compete with BYB breeder prices......

Even if GOOD BREEDERS disappear, the problems daily faced by all the 1st responders out there, blind people,sick people who need 24/7 medical assistance,veterans and their PTSD, all their problems will not disappear.....”

Just an update on Esmee who is living her best life now as a spoiled rotten couch potato 🥰. After interviewing several prospective homes for her I couldn’t be happier with the wonderful lady who has her. Esmee had been through multiple homes in her short life and even ended up in a scary situation at one point when she was being transported accross country. She was very distrustful of strangers and slow to form relationships with new people. When we met this lady for the first time Esmee went right to her and sat down beside her. As we spoke and the lady opened her back car door to put something away Esmee even tried to jump in her backseat, something I have never seen her do with someone she didnt know. I knew right then and there she had found her forever home. It was as if she just knew this was to be her special person. There is magic in the world ladies and gentlemen…

Our next to last litter of the year is due August 20th. Jade has been confirmed pregnant via ultrasound 🥰. Jade is a big robust beautiful girl with such a great calm and confident disposition. Chocolino is a European import solid liver with a wonderful temperament. We will have beautiful solid blacks and solid livers born. At this time we are only accepting names of interested persons and will accept reservations only after the litter is born.

HOW MUCH FOR A PUPPY?

Let me say a few words to you, yes you, the person who sends a text to just ask for the price. The person who calls and hears the price and says “I can buy a cheaper puppy somewhere else”. I'll talk to you too; the person who doesn't care about papers because I want “just a pet”.

No dog is “just a pet”.

Behind every purebred puppy/dog is a BREEDER. I use capital letters to distinguish a breeder from an animal factory or puppy mill. A serious breeder does not breed dogs without documents that protect the integrity of the breed.

Registration papers are records of ancestry documenting the bloodline and enabling you to investigate possible health problems in your lineage.

When you tell a breeder you don't care about the papers, just tell them you don't care about the puppies health, you just want the cheapest thing you can find!

If you choose to buy a puppy from a reputable and quality breeder, this breeder is responsible for every puppy's health.

This breeder will skip vacations, miss sleep, and most of their personal home space has been transformed into space for their dogs. The truly passionate breeder, who loves what they breed, puts all of their time into it. Not only for puppies that are sold, but also for every customer who owns a piece of their heart and is now a member of their large family. Breeders worry about their babies after leaving and will take them back without question.

A breeder will get his hands dirty, often covered in everything that comes with birth. Because that's what life is all about... in the midst of birth and death is life. The wheel that keeps spinning. A breeder conducts health tests, echoes, x-rays, analytics, emergency c-sections, vaccinations, registrations, research pedigrees, deworming, and microchips of their puppies.

Last but not least, a breeder CHOOSES the family who is lucky enough to have one of their puppies. Yes, you read correctly.
A real breeder chooses who they sell to.
There really is no compensation that can offset the investment a breeder has made.
A good breeder has other criteria for those who want to continue their bloodline, why? Because breeding isn't a responsibility to take lightly, it's a lifestyle choice reserved ONLY for the few devoted people willing to sacrifice.

Since a dog is never “just a pet” he/she is the legacy of the breeder, a little boy's best friend, a protector of a little girl, therapy for the elderly, a member of the family, someone's whole world!

Worth sharing with so much truth in this article. Responsible breeding and possession of several dogs is a lifestyle and commitment many cannot understand.

Our “ Enchanted “ litter . 2 weeks old. Both parents AKC, OFA hips/elbows, embark dna . Both parents have CGC titles. Just a few spots open ( 1 panda male, 1 panda female, liver and cream female) mom is a UK import.

These guys are so smart!!! They have mastered the doggy door. They have been litter trained and are down to only one pan inside which will be removed this weekend as they are already going outside to potty now 😊🥰
