I’ve been so inspired learning from this sweet horse. It’s reminded me how wonderful clicker training is, and how cool it is to develop your own language with each horse. It’s been a wonderful reminder to take things slow, and the importance of making things fun, and having a sense of humor when things don’t go as planned. Thank you Marley❤️

Every bodywork session is unique and meaningful to me, but there are certain ones that really remind me why I do this work. My session with Chance this week was one of them. The first time I worked on Chance he tried to bite me the entire time. He was mouthy, anxious, worried and untrusting of strangers. It was magical watching how his entire demeanor changed for his second session. He was open, happy to be worked on and was relaxed the entire time! He’s really lucky to have an incredible owner who understands him and is willing to do anything for him.
Thank you Chance for reminding me it’s not about “fixing” horses, but rather about listening, meeting them where they are at, and providing a safe space for them to communicate & heal.

A magical session with Bandit this past week💜

This work is so much more than a job to me. Being able to offer horses a sense of relief, even if it’s just for a few minutes, is the most meaningful & rewarding thing I’ve ever pursued. It’s even more incredible when steps can be taken outside of a session to make that glimmer of relief a long lasting change for the horse. So grateful for those who’ve allowed me to be a part of their journey!🥰
