All Scoot measurements are best taken after a recent barefoot trim. The edges of the hoof wall should be rounded smooth. Check with a hoof care professional to make sure your horse has a balanced trim.

Sizing guide: These photos outline how photos should be taken in order for us to give you the best possible fitting. It’s easiest to have a friend take the pics for you. You will want to keep the foot still.

1 - Stretch tape from toe down over the frog. Measurement is determined by where the tape ends at the heel buttress.

2 - Stretch tape across the WIDEST part of the foot.

(For 1 and 2, take photo from directly above the foot)

3 - Take the photo at ground level so flare and hoof angle is easy to see.

4 - Take photo at ground level so hoof angle and bulbs are easy to see.

We may ask for more photos and/or video to give us more information.
Example:
*Pics after horse has been walked for a few minutes (not ridden). This makes sure the boot is seated correctly.
*Pics or video of fitting finger under heel strap.

These are pics from a day of hunting, before, during, and after. The harvested fields were thick clay but after a couple creeks, we were great. A quick hose down when we get back home had her boots looking good as new.
