So as I mentioned before I also sub under Second Chance Wildlife Rescue so I can offer help. This beautiful old girl came my way. She has new wounds and old wounds all over her frail body. Today she was able to stand with help and eat a plate of food. We are praying she makes a full recovery. Everyone please meet Mia

Wonderful blessing today with Mr. Peanut! You go boy show the world what you are made of! Yay!!!
Just another Squirrel day! ❤️
You know sometimes you just have stop of think of the many blessings you may not notice you have. Like Peanut He came to us with major head trauma. He was not able to walk, feed himself or go potty without aid but look at him NOW! With all the prayers, good vibes and the wonderful people who picked him up and immediately got him help he’s thriving now! My heart gets so overwhelmed with joy seeing how far he has come and all that he has achieved! As a rehabber you never want there to be no hope. It kills a piece of your heart when you loose one. I feel so blessed not only getting to know the wonderful people who found him but getting to see Peanut beat all the odds of survival!
P.S. Yes he’s chattering his teeth at me telling me I can’t touch his nuts! LOL
A quick preview all weeds cut down now just have to order a new shed and benches, bring the rest of the cages out, have two big squirrel cages built and hopefully one day have a nursery building built back here. For now all the babies are being raised in my home and brought out daily to the Wild Life area when they are old enough to do so. Lots of work but oh so worth it!
Oscar wanted to say Hi this morning! He has a long way to get to that healthy weight but he’s getting better!
