We will not be open Wednesday the 24th, but will open Thursday the 25th at 7 AM. Again, pick til noon and then open from 6 til 8 in the evening for whatever is left from the earlier picking. The Dukes are done, Toros have a bit left in them, Bluegolds still have some areas of ripe, the Liberties should be good to be picked by then, but there is 1 row only of those. Auroras are ready for the first harvest of what is ripe, just 4 rows of those. Not all the clump is ripe so please, be careful picking so as not to knock off the berries for the next ripening. Thanks for your patience!😊

We will be open tomorrow, Monday the 22nd, at 7 AM and close at noon and not be open in the evening as there won't be enough ripe berries left to pick! We will be closed our normal Tuesday and I will update and let you know what the rest of the week holds. Sorry, but I know you want ripe berries, so will once again have to let things rest and ripen. Thanks for understanding.😊

Guess it's going to be pretty hot on Sunday...
We may have to close at 11 depending on how warm it is around then. It's not good for any of us to be out picking berries in the mid to high nineties and beyond. And the berries fall off the bushes very easily with just a bump of the bush, which wastes berries. Plan to come earlier in the morning if at all possible. Come hydrated!

Goodmorning! Heads up on what's happening the rest of the week. We are open today from 7 AM til noon, closed during the heat of the afternoon and then open again from 6 PM til 8 PM to pick what's left from the mornings harvest. We will be closed Thursday and Friday as there will be not enough ripes available to keep the patch open
There is more to ripen so will keep you posted on when we can have u picking again. Also, I have so many pre orders already, that I am not accepting more at this time until I catch up on the current ones. Any questions, please call 509 823 3698. Stay cool!🥵😊

Due to the heat, we will close down the patch tomorrow at noon and not re-open until Sunday at 7 AM so we can get water down. Sorry for the inconvenience but we have to take care of the plants needs! You all have been great pickers and we so appreciate that! 🤗

Due to the intense afternoon heat, no picking in the afternoons please. Also, the evenings will be very warm as well so keep this all in mind as we want you all to be safe . Thanks! Just in case there is some confusion about when we will open again, it will be Wednesday the 10th 7 AM. The heat will shut the patch down at noon and then no picking til the evening. Please bring your water and stay hydrated.

Kudos to all the awesome blueberry pickers we've had visit our farm since we started harvest.....you cleaned the bushes so well. Walking thru the patch to see what's available for picking this next week and you did such good picking. Thank you. It may be Wednesday the 10th before we have enough ripened up to open. The Bluegolds are ripening and this heat should boost that process. So there will be more Dukes and Toros once we have ripes again.

Good Hot afternoon to you all! Had a very busy morning, I thought we could stay open July 4th til 2 pm, but changing my mind! We will close at noon tomorrow and probably will stay closed Friday ...aim for Sunday open again. There are still purple and green berries on the Dukes, so don't panic!😄

We will open for u pick Dukes on Sunday June 30th. Open at 7 AM. Should the afternoons be on the hot side, please try and come mornings or evenings. We have ripes, greens, and in between! So picking isn't super speedy yet. When I run out of ripes to pick We will close to allow ripening. Always call me before heading out, please. We will be closed our normal Tuesday, and depending on what gets harvested Sunday and Monday, we'll see what's still available.

WELL.... I knew this day was coming, just wasn't sure how soon it would come! We are officially closed for the season now...into our last variety 2 pickings and , yes there is still green to ripen but I have no idea how long it will take to ripen up and I have 600 lbs of pre orders to pick for yet!

Should individuals want to come out and pick after at least a week (for ripening purposes...could be longer) I will welcome pickers in small numbers as there are ripe berries. It just doesn't make sense to keep the patch open for 4 rows that will ripen who knows when!

Have soooo much appreciated all the great picking this season...you all are amazing and we are so grateful to each of you for helping with the harvest. Always good to see you and catch up a bit. So keep in touch, and if the picking is good off and on, I'll see you again!

Will be closed Friday the 28th....won't be any Bluegolds to pick for several days.

SUNDAY....July 30th, open probably only the morning as there are only 4 rows of the Auroras and that's it for several days! The Aurora clumps are not all ripe so the picking is not going to be heavy or speedy! Pickers will have to share rows as that will be the only option for picking from Sunday.

At this point I have no idea when the next ripes will be ready...so closed after this evening til further notice.

This evening there is limited number of Bluegold rows that still have ripe berries . Just FYI.

Perhaps I was too eager to get picking the Auroras! We will wait til Sunday on that variety...even then you will need to be very selective....

Tomorrow will be what's ripe and left in toros and bluegolds....can you believe the season is winding down already?!

I am not taking any more pre order requests as I still have much picking to do for the current orders...just FYI if anyone was going to pre order yet.

Closed Wednesday the 26th, open Thursday 27th and Friday the 28th. There will be Bluegolds and Auroras available, as well as some toros. The Auroras are slow picking as the clumps are not all ripe and you'll want to carefully pull off what is ripe and leave the rest to ripen.

Again, I have appreciated all the u pickers that have come to help clean off the blues!

7:30 PM. Thanks to all who came and picked today....lots of berries gone once again! Tomorrow we will pick til noon only as I will only have the Bluegolds to pick from. The other varieties have pink/green berries now that need time to ripen. Our late variety is starting to turn blue and just waiting for sugar content to get where it needs to be for harvesting.

Saturday, July 22nd 2023.
We open at 7 AM and will pick til noon tomorrow and Monday and then again in the evening both days. There are Dukes, Toros and Bluegolds available. The mornings have been warming up quickly so come early and beat the heat!
