Sunday night and we’re hanging up our settle mat…for now. We hope you’ve all had a brilliant few days packed with adventures, muddy paws, and memory making.

With sunshine on the cards this week, there’s going to be plenty of time to roll those mats back out, picnics in the park, pub garden chill outs, lazy afternoons in the shade… wherever you go, a settle mat gives your dog their own little place to relax.

Summer dog gear just got a whole lot better 🤌

Of course, we had to bring in some brand new colours for the season, and honestly, you lot have been insatiable for them!

Picking new shades to add to the collection might just be my new favourite job.

The real question is… how many colours is too many? (Asking for a friend) 👀

Our shop in Crickhowell is open today from 10am to 4pm, come say hi!

Pop in for some dog biscuits (quick before eat them all, on a side note we’ve been laughing with Ralph’s mum at how he looks like he’s saying “Excuse me please may I have a treat sir“ ) and if you’re a well behaved human, we’ve got a big ol’ jar of sweets with your name on it too!

Our shop opening hours 🛎️

Whilst we frantically try and update our google business page, website and everything else here’s our opening hours (store only, online we’re 24/7 😎) We’re open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am–4pm and we’d absolutely love to see you!

However, before we even got the keys to the shop, we had a few events booked in for July and August, so there are a few days we need to have an early finish or will be closed for a few days, swipe to see any closure times. If you’re planning a special visit, feel free to drop us a message beforehand just to double check we’ll be in.

Thanks so much for all the support so far and we can’t wait to see you come through our doors!

It’s taken us a few days to recover from what we can only describe as the best day we could have ever imagined!

Saturday was everything we ever dreamed of and more. We met old friends, made new ones, finally matched some familiar dog Instagram names to real life faces (and snouts!), chatted with lovely locals, met the mayor, and even got a visit from .pizza (if you haven’t been… trust us, you need to).

Our amazing friend brought the most insanely delicious vegan cakes, raspberry & coconut, and Black Forest, complete with green buttercream to match our walls (we actually squealed). Please, please check her page out if you haven’t already. She’s magic.

We had grand plans of ribbon cuttings, goodie bags, fizz, the works… but in true Wildbarc fashion, the week leading up had other ideas: burst pipe, no internet, a shop still waiting to be filled with stock. So we had a word with ourselves, dropped the pressure, and decided that just opening the doors was big enough. And it was.

To everyone who came to say hi, popped in for a chat, brought their dogs, gave us a hug, or just stood in our tiny space to show support, thank you. You’ll never know how much it meant. Our hearts are so full.

Here’s a few little snippets from the day, including our very first customer Liam (legend), some of the many dogs we got to cuddle, and the buzz of our beautiful little corner of Crickhowell.

This felt like a launch, but on a whole other level. We were nervous no one would come… and then we were run off our feet. It was the best day.

We truly can’t wait to welcome more of you into our new Wildbarc home. Come by, say hi, we’d love to meet you.

🎉 IT’S OFFICIAL — OUR DOORS ARE OPEN! 🎉

Today is the day… our brand new Wildbarc store in Crickhowell is open for adventure! You’ll find us at 3 Standard Street, NP8 1BP today from 10am–4pm.

It still doesn’t feel real to say “come to our shop” definitely a pinch us moment. 🥹

We’ve poured our hearts, hands (and a lot of wood) into transforming this space, and we couldn’t be prouder of our little store.

To everyone who’s followed along through the dust, the chaos, and the countless cups of tea thank you.

Your support, messages and encouragement over the past 4 weeks have meant the world.

Now we can’t wait to welcome you in, show you what we’ve built, and introduce you to all the Wildbarc gear and incredible makers we’ve stocked.

Week 4: The Final Countdown… and the Grand Opening 🎉🛠️

After four whirlwind weeks of paint, power tools, problem solving and pure determination… we’re opening tomorrow!

This week’s been all about the finishing touches, from painting the floor to crafting a camp pennant for our fireplace (cosy cabin vibes still going strong).

Vern walked an incredible 44 miles along the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal to raise money for St David’s Hospice, a charity close to his heart thank you so much for all your support and donations 💛

We were lucky enough to have the insanely talented Neil from work his magic on our windows with hand painted signs that are genuinely a work of art. Go watch our latest video if you haven’t already it’s seriously hypnotic stuff.

Somehow, amongst it all, we also launched our new Breed Collection and Topo Pouches (because why not add a product launch into the mix?), and your support was off the charts.

And just like that, our four week renovation is officially complete… well, complete-ish. There’s still a long list of tweaks, ideas, and dreams we’ll chip away at over time, because this space will always be evolving with us.

But for now, we’re ready (and slightly delirious) to open the doors of our first-ever Wildbarc shop TOMORROW, 28th June!

Thank you for joining us on this wild (barc) ride. We’re tired, we’re proud, and we can’t wait to welcome you through the door.

Exactly four weeks ago, we picked up the keys to a little spot in Crickhowell… and since then it’s been a whirlwind. We’ve painted, built, rummaged, crafted, stitched and stocked. We’ve sourced beautiful wares from indie makers, filled the shelves with a whole heap of Wildbarc gear, and somehow turned an empty shell into a shop we’re so proud of.

They say Rome wasn’t built in a day, but Wildbarc was definitely built in 4 weeks 💪

And now we’re thrilled to say our grand opening is THIS SATURDAY, 28th June, 10am until 4pm! You’ll find us at:

(That’s right next to the main car park, so no excuse not to pop in 😉)

Even better? Crickhowell’s first ever Food Festival is also on this Saturday, so the whole town is going to be buzzing. Come for the snacks, stay for the dog gear.

Who ever said doing a double launch while fitting out a shop was a good idea? 😅⁠

You lot showed up harder than we could’ve imagined last night and we honestly can’t thank you enough.⁠

The Topo Treat Pouches are already flying off the machine (we’re on it, don’t worry 🪡), and our best selling New Breed colour of the night? Of course… purple 💜⁠

Was it all your investment in thread gate that made it soar? We’ll never know. But what we do know is that you’re all absolute legends and you continue to keep us super busy ✌️⁠
