Meet the newest additions joining our Jacquard Collection this coming Monday…
Càrn Dearg, Kinder Scout and Parys.
Since day one, every Wildbarc design has been named after a mountain, landmark or place. This time, we handed the job over to our reps.
The result? Three names with three very different stories.
Càrn Dearg (Gaelic for “Red Cairn”) is one of several Scottish mountains bearing the name, inspired by the distinctive reddish tones often found in the surrounding rock and landscape. Kinder Scout is the highest point in the Peak District and the site of the famous 1932 mass trespass that helped open up access to the countryside. Parys takes its name from Parys Mountain on Anglesey, known for its striking, almost otherworldly landscape shaped by centuries of copper mining.
Places have always been part of Wildbarc. They give each design its own identity and, unlike some of our past names (looking at you, Annapurna), they’re places you can actually visit.
Which is your favourite?
