My Name is Pat
I am a Dog
I don’t like sitting
Like a bump on a log
I go to York Dog Park
To jump over logs
I meet lots of friends
And I once ate a frog
Now if you think that’s absurd
It’s the only place Daddy
Will pick up my turd
He grumbles and sputters
He says a bad word
And once even flipped me the bird! (Bad Daddy!)

Do you and your dog appreciate the York Maine Dog Park? To maintain its condition, we rely on volunteer assistance. We are currently recruiting new board members to support our endeavors. Is this a dedicated role? Yes. What are the time expectations? Roughly one meeting per month, or possibly two when events are planned. Meetings are held in person and via ZOOM as necessary, aiming to be concise, lasting around an hour and a half. Additionally, we have bi-annual clean-up days, one major fundraising event per year, and participate in a couple of community outreach and education events. If you and your dog value the York Maine Dog Park, please let us know. Meet the Board, attend the next meeting, and then make a decision. We would be pleased to have you on board. K. Kelley is the lucky winner of our impressive raffle basket, kindly donated by Ann-imals Pet Supply. We would like to thank all attendees who purchased raffle tickets, posed questions or simply said hello. The event was a wonderful experience on a stunning day.
