NEW LOCKDOWN CHALLENGE!!!
Parents and Riding Pupils are challenged to create a Mini Show Jumping Course- using a base, either Sand or Grass Arena, numbered Model Jumps, (Drinking Straws make brilliant Mini Jumping Poles....)
Flags, plants, and other Arena decoration!
This challenge can be done in teams, and your Jumping arena must be ready for Judging by Saturday 20th June!!!
This Challenge is fun, and open to everyone- not only Riders and Members of Ostler's Inn Stables and Equestrian Centre, so Join in the fun!!!

1- To create a Hobby Horse and
2- To make a Horsey Hand Puppet.
Some brilliant examples were tendered, and wonderful prizes Awarded.

Lots to do, but like any Yard, there always is; but I believe theres been tons happening while I've been away!
Had a Stunning SANESA Q1, and now that the nerves of the newbies are settled having seen what it's all about, cant wait for Q2!!!

Another awesome SANESA Qualifier for Omphile Motake and Ostler's Inn Stables Tintoretto.
Amid some daunting Competition, this stylish Equestrienne again proved her mettle by taking 2nd place in each of the classes she rode in.
Added to her 1st and 2nd placings at Qualifier 1, this young lady appears destined for great things.
Well done Omphile and Tintin, you have made both Ostler's Inn Stables and your School Benoni West very proud!!!
(Tintoretto is owned by Ostler's Inn Stables, and Omphile is coached by Phillip Roberts of Ostler's Inn Stables.)

Fantastic Primary School SANESA Qualifier 1 for Ostler's Inn Riders!
1st and 2nd place for little local Marister Rider Omphile Motake and Ostler's Inn Stables Tintoretto, with two flawless rounds, an amazing Jump- Off with fantastic turns, and being beaten into 2nd place in the Ideal Time class by a fraction of a second!
Also a very credible performance by young Tayla Else, riding Ostler's Inn Stables Cherry Island, who had a a very good round in Ideal time, and a flawless round in the Competition Class, but sadly just a bit slow to incur time penalties.
SO PROUD OF MY GIRLS AND MY HORSES!!!

It is with the deepest regret that I advise that our beloved Starbright left us this morning.
We all have wonderful memories of Starry- she was a very important part of all our lives for so long.
Starbright, may you be as loved and appreciated in heaven as you were here at Ostler's Inn.
My deepest condolences to all who's lives she touched.

IT'S THIS SUNDAY!!!!
All Parents are welcome to place a gift under the Tree for Father Christmas to hand out to their child, wife, Grandma- whoever!
And as always we'll have our absolutely FREE Pony Rides for the kiddies!
To add to the fun there will also be games and Show Jumping by some of the older riders to add to the fun and excitement!

Congratulations to Amy Walbank of Benoni High School on being awarded Gauteng Provincial Colours at this evenings SANESA Regional Awards presentation at Beaulieu College.
Amy was the Highest Achiever for Benoni High School for 2018.
Amy now goes through to represent Gauteng Province at the SANESA National competition next month.
Riding her feisty little mount Ostler's Inn Stables Kimiko, Amy is coached by Phillip Roberts of Ostler's Inn Stables, Benoni.
