Von Wingrove was born out of the love and passion for the German Shepherd Breed. The GSD is among the most intelligent of breeds, virtually unsurpassed in working versatility. They are devoted, loving, faithful and protective of their home and family. We, Alliste and Emilia Jooste, both grew up with German Shepherds and the love for the breed was established at a very young age. Alliste was also p

art of the police force in his younger years and experienced the immence capabilities of this breed first hand, deepening his love and respect for the GSD. In 2020, we decided we would join the federation as a family and in this time we met Christel and Rudi Zimmerman from Von Kazandi German Shepherds. Their passion for the breed and what they do is unbelievable and they were always willing to share their wealth of knowledge, answering any questions, and assisting with any concerns and training needs we had. They encouraged us to partake in the GSD shows and trials and after joining in we soon were hooked. From the amazing experience we had with them as a breeder we were inspired to start our own kennel. We are a small family run kennel, but breed within the regulations of the GSD Federation of South Africa, ensuring the best health, quality and temperament of the GSD.
