Watership Down Rabbitry In 2010 I joined the Gauteng Rabbit breeders association. We breed show rabbits and over the years have really made ourselves known.

It always has been a childhood dream to have an animal farm. From a young child I was obsessed with animals and their welfare, needless to say it is an absolute passion of mine. I have had pet rabbits for as long as I can remember but started breeding them under the rabbitry name "Watership Down" since 2010 when I joined the Gauteng Rabbit breeders association. We learned a lot being amongst likem

inded people. Over the years we have really made ourselves a name when it comes to the Flemish Giant rabbit. We have bred some of the best rabbits of this breed that are present in our country, we won shows with local and international judges. This is a huge achievement considering that they were almost extinct at one stage. Most did not believe that they could survive and get to the standard we managed to breed them to, especially seeing there is a ban on importing rabbits into South Africa.
