So cute
But a positive nuisance.
Lucy came to PAWS and PEEPS about Six weeks ago. She has lost 2kg and is looking great. 2kg’s is 4 500gm tubs of margarine.

Adoption
Button and Bimpy up for adoption. Four months old. Such lovely pups.
Jess
Stray from the streets in Harding. Brought into PAWS and PEEPS and spayed. Thank you Wendy for bringing Jess in and giving her the perfect home. Lucky girl.
Zip Lining
In tandem for weight, to counter act the wind.
Our adoption Poppy
Just love it when a dog is the perfect fit. Poppy was not at all happy around big dogs. She played with Lola the little Jack Russel boarder, under our desks in the mornings.
Now she is mommy to three little ones. Such a happy girl.
Little Kimchi
Our little patient, Kimchi recovering from the runs. Going home next week. Eating so well and put on weight.

A quick update on February
Another trip out of town to Sandfontein on the New Amalfi road, saw 68 dogs vaccinated and treated for parasites.
Adoptions have been slow in numbers, especially cats and kittens. Three cats and two kittens were adopted, plus 13 dogs. I say slow in numbers as we have not had many surrendered dogs. Of course there are the many black pups, of which 2 were re-homed this week.
So far we have been to Franklin, Harding, Pakkies and Sandfontein this month. Next week is Harding again as a lady wants to surrender dogs and she has no means of transport. We are planning to go to Phepheni and Poka rural villages in the next few weeks
Mzimkulu will see 4 females and some males sterilised on Tuesday.
Tyson is doing much better, he has had an outbreak of Ringworm on his back and sides, which got infected. Two dogs have been treated for Bilary and went home on day three.
An old German Shepherd came in for a “pick me up” and is going home tomorrow. Similar to humans, old age creeps in and it is invariably some sort of cancer or organ failure, which takes time to set in.
My Poppit was diagnosed with kidney failure almost a year ago. Medication made her very nauseas. Although rather skinny she has past her 15th birthday off the drugs, eating fairly well and has her little bursts of energy. She is the oldest of my many dachshunds and the only one not rescued.
